JUNIOR TECHNICAL ENGINEER

ABEI ENERGY is an International Independent Power Producer (IPP) which engages in the full management of projects to generate power from renewable resources using photovoltaic, wind, hydroelectric, hydrogen and battery storage facilities. We’re rapidly expanding, both here in Spain, and abroad (USA, UK, France, Italy and Poland), and we’re looking to add a Junior Technical Engineer to our team based in Madrid. Reporting to the head of technical office and working closely with the project development team of Spain, USA and UK, this person will be responsible for carrying out production studies and to create Layouts for photovoltaic plants, wind energy plants, hydrogen facilities and battery storages. All according to the international, national and local regulations. Another element in the daily work is the preparation of technical and administrative documentation in order to present the project to the planning authorities and the network operators.

Responsibilities:

· Conducting preliminary layout and production studies to see the viability of the projects.

· Carrying out detailed layouts based on national and regional regulation.

· Preparation of project documentation in order to present the projects to local and national planning authorities.

· Working hand in hand with the development teams in the countries mentioned above to adapt the layout and documentation to the needs given by environmental restrictions, landlords interests and requirements given by the planning authorities

· Give support with any technical matter to the development team.

· Managing all the information related to projects based on the input received from the local development teams.

· Communicate with the engineering team for project development purposes.

· Keep up to date with all matters regarding national and local requirements

· Keep up to date with technological progress of photovoltaic, wind, hydrogen and battery plants.

Requirements:

· University Degree or Bachelor's Degree in industrial engineering /electric engineer/energy engineering/ civil engineering

· AutoCAD intermediate level

· Experience with PVsyst, PVDesing, Furow are beneficial but not mandatory

· A dynamic, proactive person with the ability to adapt and work in a dynamic, fluid and results-oriented environment.

· Languages: Spanish, English b2
