Role purpose
As a Principal - Geographical Sales you will be responsible for building and managing long-term relationships with key customers by comprehending their requirements and offering sales solutions. Develops and executes sales strategies and plans based on a deep understanding of the account. You are responsible for expanding our sales accounts; driving sales; generating new business sales within your nominated account or set of accounts. You are ultimately accountable for all activities within the account you are responsible for.
What will you do?
- Working with airline and travel agency clients within Europe & Africa and forming working relationships with the decision makers
- Work at the CXO level to become a strategic partner
- Strategic Account Planning & Customer Stakeholder Mapping, developing specific plans to ensure both long and short-term growth goals
- Accurately forecasting and generating leads for future sales and forming sales plans to adapt to constant shifts in the marketplace
- Coordination of internal resources and pursuit management to support opportunity closure for New and Existing Business
- Responsible for pursuit win themes and responses to customer commercial requests
- Customer Facing Proposal, Pricing & Commercial Negotiation
- Contracts Delivery & Negotiations
- Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences, trade shows, and expositions
- Understanding of complex and lengthy sales cycles and how to create achievable milestones
- Experience in Airline domain with specific focus on commercial solutions
- Fluent in French and English
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to make compelling presentations to an audience of diverse and senior business stakeholders
- Proven ability to negotiate and close deals
- Must be strategic, flexible, tenacious and results oriented. Excellent problem solving, communication, and client management skills are essential.
- Establish effective collaborative relations with other departments within the business unit or external organizations.
- Conversant with presenting to senior business leaders and technology leaders and must be persuasive and influential.
