This role offers a unique opportunity to become a member of Agilent's sales management team in EMEAI for the Laboratory Solution Sales (LSS).


The successful applicant will be responsible for growing Agilent's LSS business across the territory and for building a new team. This is a very visible role which requires a combination of industry, market and leadership skills to be successful in a fast moving high-technology environment.


Responsibilities:


  • Work in synch with EMEAI Staff to design a dedicated Biopharma channel. Be the EMEAI Vertical leader to ensure Structured BioPharma commercial execution
  • Drive growth in Bio business across EMEAI countries working closely with Business Territory Managers, Account Managers, Marketing and TechCoverage teams
  • Drive demand generation programs in synch with Marketing Program Managers
  • Drive, follow and execute on Bio Country Plans
  • Support Country to enhance Bio Coverage, Assess Channels
  • Coordinate all the competencies strategy
  • Be the link with the Global Bio Segment and the Solutions Units
  • Active in the field visiting prospects and customers, supporting them through the customer journey to success
  • Focus on Biopharmaceutical end-to-end workflows. and drive the marketing and business development activities
  • Establish a network of influencers to contribute to marketing campaigns and to positively benefit competitive opportunities
  • Demonstrate internal leadership of the Biopharmaceutical market in EMEAI; energizing, coaching and supporting Account Managers across the region
  • Demonstrated business acumen to build the channel and lead a team of leaders in selected countries and sales roles across the region


This role can be based anywhere in Western Europe.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree & Masters/PhD in a life science area and/or an MBA
  • Extensive marketing and/or commercial and/or biopharma/pharma industry experience
  • Possess good current knowledge of the bio industry and stays at the forefront of business, technical, and strategic developments.
  • Highly structured & organized
  • Learning agility, flexibility and adaptability
  • Comfortable working cross-functionally in a highly matrixed environment with multiple collaborators and business needs
  • Strong customer focus & business acumen
  • Outstanding communication skills
