Ii. Role Description
Overall objective of the Role
To ensure that business is resourced adequately with focus on quality, timeliness and cost effectiveness. Working with operational and commercial Leads to understand demand requirements, resourcing strategy, resource allocations, utilization optimisation and resource capabilities & training requirements to deliver capability development and improved employee satisfaction.

Demand – Pipeline Forecast
- Work closely with sales community to understand Sales Pipeline so that resource demand can be forecasted effectively
- Maintain allocation of resources and demand forecast to track individual resource activity
- Work closely with other Resource Management Business Partners to ensure resource planning and Lines of Business are aligned and connected with Pipeline demand
- Ensure all assignments are staffed on time with the most appropriate resources according to skill, availability, cost and location
- Proactively assist Project/Delivery/Operations Managers in composition of their team by identifying the best possible resources for each position considering resource competencies, availability and project cost efficiency
- Maintain staffing allocation, closely monitor bench and utilization with Project/Delivery/Operational counterparts.
- Work closely with other Resource Management Business Partners to ensure all resource planning and Lines of Business are aligned and connected with project planned rollouts
- Ensure that utilisation is optimized taking into account global targets
- Ensure that the resource planning tools and data are accurate and are used as basis for resource planning analysis and other related activities
- Proactively understand skills gaps and requirements and address with Project/Delivery/Operations teams by ensuring the development and maintenance of the skills matrix to ensure sufficient staffing plans are in place to drive improved performance and retention of key staff
- Provide analysis and reporting based on People skills to identify resource capabilities and deficiencies within the organisation and where employee development is required to meet business objectives
- Supporting our business ensuring accurate (with a focus on quality) resource profiles, “Pen Portraits” are in place and maintained
- Support the recruitment process to ensure that recruitment activity occurs in accordance with the standards and procedures of the business and maintain information within resource management tools
- Support the contractor process to ensure that contractors are appointed in accordance with the contractor standards and procedure of the business and maintain information within resource management tools
- Continually monitor the use of contractors to ensure that agreements are in place and that the contractor policy is adhered to and maintain information within resource management tools
- Manage subcontractors by maintaining a matrix of approved subcontractor providers – including rates, discounts & payment terms, provider specialisms and territories serviced
- Maintain resource attrition
- Ensure that resources are productive and fully utilised, and that relevant offshore/onshore targets are met as part of this process
- Ensure that resource allocation and bench time is accurate and maintained to company targets
- Ensure skills matrix, resource profiles, subcontractor database and other resource management tools are maintained
- Contribute to the development and distribution of the weekly and monthly resourcing reports to ensure data is accurate and represents the true status on resourcing themes
- Analyse weekly and monthly reports reflecting resource activity directly with Project/Delivery/Operational counterparts to maintain
- Escalate to Global Business Management Lead in a timely manner if support is required
- Utilization targets are met
- Resourcing targets and deliverables are met (including allocation & bench, adherence to contractor policy)
- Productivity targets are met
- Financial targets met
