About A&M Spain And The PEPI Team
A&M has grown considerably in Spain, three folding figures from 2020 (c. 50 to c. 150 employees). This is a unique opportunity to join the PEPI team during its growth in Madrid, whilst already a very mature practice across Europe. The PEPI team in Madrid hosts senior profiles with experiences in ADL, McKinsey, Kearney, Big Four, Manufacturing Companies as well as top Business Schools

The Main Tasks Will Include
- Participate in projects advising European Private Equity firms on the potential of acquisition targets
- Support portfolio companies in their transformation processes in close collaboration with Management
- Performing research on potential targets and helping prepare “points of view” documents on such targets
- Research and benchmark analysis of the performance of key competitors
- Exposure to the international A&M team across Europe
- Involvement on a mix of projects and marketing/commercial development
- Access to A&M trainings
Requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
- Fluent business level English and Spanish is essential
- Understanding of the structure of a P&L and the basic working capital elements
Additional Skills That Could Enhance Your Application
- Excel basic Modelling skills. Familiar with Excel functions: vlookup, sumif, pivot tables…
- Additional European language skills including Portuguese, French, Dutch, German, or Italian
- Strong interest in a career within Private Equity advisory and Performance Improvement

The opportunity
This internship is a remunerated offer that represents an opportunity for both sides to know each other during 6 months and is aimed to find a candidate who will join the team permanently as an Analyst (so far all interns have stayed and promoted)
Details
- Full time (Madrid office, occasional flexible remote)
- Last year graduates from Engineering and/or Business
Possible Modalities
University collaboration (students) – Students will be required full time dedication, so it is desirable that they have no pending
lectures (€800 / mth gross)
“Contrato laboral en practices” – Requirements: (i) Official degree diploma (or provisional) and (ii) be under this regime during the first time (have not yet contributed to the Spanish Social Contribution system) (€1,350 / mth gross)
