Position
We are looking for an EU Payroll Manager, who will be responsible for payroll services, meets our customers' demands both internal in Amazon and for external Delivery Service Providers (DSPs) on the last mile. This individual will be responsible for vendor performance management and improve service offerings on behalf of our partners. This position involves vendor management and ability to challenge the status quo repeatedly. This role will provide critical support to the EU DSP Payroll program management and act as a focal point for all payroll, time and attendance service activities.

Key functions for the role include:
· Create and drive Payroll Service concepts on the basis of customer and market requirements to meet current industry standards
· Develop strong, value-add partnerships with payroll relevant 3rd party companies
· Work with in-country teams to create development plans for a new product or service deployment, and execute project plans including the launch of new features
· Support program teams to implement the local payroll strategy and ensure services are provided in full and in the right quality
· Maintain and update EU Payroll country profile rules and regulations documentation
· Act as the ‘product owner’ for assigned countries, possessing a complete understanding of internal and external variables that may impact the product. This includes owning forecasting, monitoring, driving changes to achieve business objectives
· Have a thorough understanding of the payroll compliance requirements and continually monitor customers feedback and vendors developments
· Be the main Point of Contact (POC) in case of escalations and address issues raised with appropriate solutions
· Provide weekly, monthly and quarterly metrics for vendor performance management
· Create, maintain progress reports to be distributed across the work-streams
· Coordinate consolidated standard operation procedures and administration
· Effectively communicate and write documents and work with a variety of organizations, management levels, cultures, and personalities
· Handle and prioritize when presented with a high volume of engagements

The position can be located in Munich, Berlin, Madrid, Milano or London


BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
· This leader has prior experience influencing and interacting with cross-functional teams
· This Leader has prior experience in multinational payroll operations or working with payroll vendors in the EU
· This leader has prior experience in business development, project management, with a proven ability to deliver results
· Prior experience working with large data sets and complex reports
· A history of developing value-add partnerships and managing 3rd party companies
