· Streamline the purchase experience for products across Amazon.com and remove all stress in the process.
· Drive distinctively built for business vision and inspire our customers with frictionless checkout experiences.
· Integrate deeply with account management experiences catering to complex organizational structures.
· Integrate deeply with Amazon’s checkout experiences.
· Allow customers to create their personal work preferences and use that to influence the purchasing experience.
· Improve the customer's purchase experience on the website with a contextualized checkout experience based on their job function.

5. YOUR ROLE
As a Sr. Product Manager, you will help define and drive the strategy for the Purchase charter. You will define, build and test new purchase experiences and platform capabilities that are distinctively built for business customers to delight them. You are expected to excel in an ambiguous, fast paced environment. You will have strong judgment and understand which opportunities drive the most strategic value for the business. You will not be limited by the present and will constantly look ahead to the future while innovating incrementally to deliver value to our customers always. Successful candidates will enjoy diving deep into data, have outstanding analytical skills, excellent communication strategies and confident with executive level reviews. You will thrive in a collaborative, creative, analytical, and fast-paced environment. You have a history of delivering streamlined prioritization process working closely with your engineering counterparts; better design processes leading to a more positive user experience; enabling better together team collaboration with improved product velocity, quality, and, typically, happier customers. You must have the experience and capability to prepare documentation for senior executives. This is a highly visible position that will interact at all levels of the Amazon Business and core retail groups.

§ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
§ 10+ years of Product Management experience in a technical environment
§ Excellent written and oral communications skills, including experience communicating to executives.
§ Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems
§ High attention to detail and the ability to lead multiple, contending priorities simultaneously
§ General manager/owner mentality, entrepreneurial drive, and confirmed ability to influence others
§ Data driven decision making and quantitative analysis skills, including deep knowledge of statistical analysis, Excel, SQL, and/or other analytical techniques
§ Demonstrated experience as a strong leader who can prioritize well, communicate clearly and effectively influence across cross-functional teams
§ Excellent interpersonal skills. Proven ability to guide cross-functional teams through influence vs direct management
§ Ability to think strategically while staying on top of tactical execution and leading incremental innovation
§ MBA and/or advanced degree
§ Deep experience authoring documents relating to product life cycle including product roadmap, business requirements and functional specifications
§ Experience with customer development and validating products through customer feedback
§ Ability to earn trust across different levels and multiple groups of a large organization
§ A deep understanding of software development in a team, and a proven track record of shipping software quickly then iterating on the experience
§ Experience communicating with customers, technical teams, and management to collect requirements and describe software product features
§ Superior analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success
Demonstrated ability to dive deep in understanding the product, our business, and the competitive landscape
