Amazon Shipping is going through an exciting period of growth, broadening the geographies in which we operate, the proposition we offer and the market segments we reach. We’re passionate about providing a high level of service to both our shipper base and our parcel recipients, ensuring that every interaction we have is a success.

To help driving this growth, we are looking to hire an experienced Program Manager to join the Amazon Shipping Customer Programs Team, responsible for scaling up our new international market Spain and supporting process improvements and innovation to delight our Shippers and Recipients. In this role, you will be required to wear multiple hats and work across 4 different programs (Claims, Tracking and Delivery; Billing & Payments; Shipper Experience and Support and Shipment Creation and fulfillment), being responsible for delivering solutions that are scalable and flexible while maintaining a strong customer focus.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in program management and process improvement and possess strong stakeholder management skills to enable cross-functional collaboration. The successful candidate will also have excellent analytical abilities and strong business acumen. They will be comfortable with ambiguity, have strong attention to detail, and be motivated by a fast-paced and entrepreneurial environment.

Key job responsibilities
  • Be responsible for scaling Customer Programs in Spain, owning daily activities and channeling back country specific feedback to improve programs
  • Set up scalable processes for Customer Programs and enhance them to improve performance metrics
  • Dive deep country trends to identify issues root causes and develop actionable solutions to improve Shipper and Recipient Experience
  • Monitor, report and improve Customer Programs metrics
  • Support new features implementation and collaborate with central program/product teams to inform future tech roadmap
  • Work cross-functionally with Business and Operations team to ensure development and implementation of programs as per timelines.

Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's/Master's Degree in Business, Engineering or related fields
  • Prior experience in Program/Project Management roles
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office
  • Experience analyzing customer and operational related data and draw conclusions leading to improvement initiative recommendations
  • Experience coordinating and interacting with cross-functional teams
  • Fluency in Spanish and English, both oral and verbal
  • Excellent organizational skills including prioritizing, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines
  • Ability to prioritize and deliver in a complex and fast-paced environment, with willingness to roll up your sleeves
Preferred Qualifications
  • Fluent in a minimum of two of the following languages: English, Italian, Spanish, French
  • Multiple years of experience working in transportation, customer service and/or distribution environments
  • Fluent in SQL and proficiency working with complex data
