- Based in Madrid, overseeing from HR perspective our operations in Spain, Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Portugal, and Switzerland (and growing).

The People & Development Leader is the single point of contact and advisor on all people and development matters to the leadership of a region. The P&D Leader provides advice and solutions to business in order to make the people and the organization more effective in achieving their goals. The P&D Leader develops and implements workforce strategies and plans and ensures people implications of business decisions are understood and acted upon in an effective and compliant manner.
This role requires a specific ability to combine planning with day to day practical work. Being in the trenches with the business as well as being able to take a step back and oversee the whole picture.
The P&D leader works on the whole spectrum of people and development like business partnering, learning, recruitment, policy, performance management, and compensation & benefits. In that the P&D leader will work with the colleagues in the Centres of Excellence.
Key clients are the Managing Directors, their leadership teams of the region and the Chief People & Development Officer.
Next to that the P&D leader will also work on employee issue resolutions and projects where required.
Essential Job Responsibilities
Responsibility

- Provide advice and services in the People & Development area to the business across the region. From writing plans and strategy to writing letters and conducting interviews. It is the whole spectrum from the very practical to the more strategic.
- Develop, articulate and lead delivery of people and development plans and strategies for the business.
- Develop and deliver with the Centre of Excellence learning and training programs. Actively contribute to the development of L&TD content.
- Ensure talent acquisition is addressed pro-actively and recruiting is smooth, timely and cost effective.
- Drive organisation re-design in anticipation of evolution in the business as a result of changing market and/or client expectations and requirements
- Provide inputs to develop reward strategy and philosophy based on an appropriate market positioning; link total value of reward and recognition to performance, contribution and long term potential
- Ensure people data and processes are compliant and record keeping and retention is excellent.
- Ensure monthly payroll is done correctly, securely and conform local, regional and financial requirements.
- Advise leadership on all matters of talent acquisition, retention, reward and recognition.
- Support the business on all talent management programs including executive and leadership development, performance management, succession planning, coaching, training, career development and diversity and inclusion initiatives
- Champion colleague engagement in close collaboration with business leadership
- Address (if appropriate) additional organizational needs and requests.
Lead, manage and direct People & Development team (where applicable):
- Building and developing the team
- Ensuring efficient and effective management of transactions by the rest of the function
Proactively scan the competitive talent landscape to ensure leadership has up-to-date market intelligence to inform critical decision-making. Partner with relevant COEs as appropriate. Ensure talent acquisition is proactive, efficient and effective within the region.

- Seek out opportunities to collaborate more effectively across Incubeta and be open to sharing and adopting best practices
- Pro-actively contribute to the wider P&D community and act as an Ambassador for Incubeta and the function, internally and externally.
Education
(degree / diploma)
Experience
Qualifications in People & Development (HR), business or law.
- 10 years of People & Development experience with at least five years' experience senior positions in comparable organizations
- Experience in online marketing, media, professional services, or at a blue chip company.
- Preferred experience working in start / scale-ups
- Worked in / with the following geographies: Spain, Italy, Germany, the Netherlands and other EU countries.
- Expertise across the range of HR disciplines and a comprehensive knowledge of all relevant legislation.
- Evidence of delivery of practical HR solutions to critical business issues
- Extensive Talent Acquisition experience.
- Extensive Learning & Talent Development experience.
