Our Exciting Opportunity:

Software Development Manager Required! – Perquisites - experience as a software developer with good people management skills.

Hybrid Working Available - 12 Days per month from home.

We are looking for a motivated, passionate, and self driven technical leader to join our team as a Software Development Manager. The role will lead a number of teams consisting of 5G SW Developers and Software Architects developing Cloud Native applications for the Ericsson 5G Core Network. The position is located in Madrid, Spain and operations are distributed globally.

You will:-
  • Lead various teams developing 5G Microservices to deliver with quality and as per commitments
  • Proactively support the team and individuals by driving resolution of all relevant and blocking issues, taking ownership to remove impediments
  • Continuous support and close follow-up with Developers supporting competence development
  • Be an active member of the organizations leadership team to drive the evolution and strategy of both product and operations
  • Support the deployment of the wanted culture across the organsation
  • Promote and support health, safety and well-being.

Technical Requirements:
  • Ideally a thorough understanding of Kubernetes, microservice architecture, automated testing, and Continuous Integration process to successfully drive the units operations and to support the team
  • Strong knowledge in Cloud architecture and latest SW development principles
  • Ability to discuss and understand technical issues with SW architects and developers
