Glovo is looking for a world-class Data Visualization Analyst. This position will be dedicated to our Data & Engineering department, and more specifically to our Central Business Intelligence Team.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, results-oriented, analytical, and passionate about visualization and data communication.The role would mean not only to administer the core visualization tools in Glovo but also to jump into business to be able to suggest improvement opportunities.

Be a Part Of a Team Where You Will

• Establish coding standards and best practices in our visualization tools (Amplitude and LookML in the case of Looker).
• Being part of the administration processes of the visualization tools.
• Help, assist and train users on the main visualization tools: writing documentation, promoting its usage and developing best practices.
• Ensure that data privacy and compliance standards are strictly maintained by users who interact and consume data in our visualization tools.
• Able to monitor performance and usage of the Visualization tools.
• Able to handle direct interactions with Visualization tool vendors.
• Help maintain, approve via PRs and optimize the code and the performance of our visualization tools (being Looker the main one).
  

You Have

• Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field
• Proficiency in SQL
• Experience with visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, PowerBI, Qlik, etc): building charts or dashboards to get insights and excelling in story-telling
• Experience in building tables to feed visualization tools
• Full working proficiency in English
• Knowledge in at least one programming language (Python, Javascript, R)
• Knowledge in LookML is a plus
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize and handle multiple issues simultaneously
• Proactivity, passion for innovation and facility to work in fast-changing environments
• Good communication skills: able to manage various stakeholders and know how to structure information
• Strong people skills to actively collaborate with colleagues while mentoring and inspiring them
