The Paralegal will advise, supervise and regulate all legal matters of the company (contracting, commercial matters, etc.) on the basis of current legislation, the consumer code, the commercial code and the civil code.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitoring and management of the commercial documentation (certificates, capital increases, annual accounts, etc.) in order to formalise the resolutions adopted at boards and meetings and the corresponding entry in the commercial register with the support of the service providers in third-party mandates and directly in corporate mandates.
- Organises, prepares and drafts the necessary documentation for boards of directors and/or general meetings with the support of the service providers in the case of third-party mandates and directly in the case of corporate mandates.
- Preparation and maintenance of the capital monitoring tables/sheets of companies and boards of directors, in order to keep corporate life up to date (appointments, resignations, composition of boards, etc.).
- Supporting the other departments in administrative procedures, powers of attorney, corporate data, etc.
- Supervise, analyse and/or draft all the contracts of the corporate company.
- Support the operations department in the drafting of documentation related to the hiring of residents/tenants.
- Checking and managing invoices and payment orders from the legal department as well as providing their inputs in the preparation of budgets, controlling the items, so that the financial department can make the overall budget in all companies.
- Management and distribution of the original documentation of the companies, so that it is accessible and available to staff who may need it. Control of scanning and archiving.
- Monitoring and consultation of tax matters related to the corporate company (registration and deregistration, local taxes, etc.) in order to formalise tax obligations. Support to external tax specialists.
- Processing and replying to AEAT, TGSS and Court attachments to suppliers and employees.
About You
You will ideally hold a legal degree or be qualified by experience in addition to being fluent in Spanish and English. You will have demonstable experience as a paralegal with a good understanding of commercial processes and procedures. You will be a confident communicator and able to explain legal risks to the business.
