Overview:
IQVIA eCOA Logistics is excited to offer you the ability to make important impacts within the life sciences industry. We are looking for the right candidate to provide project oversight and continue to build within our growing team. You will manage IQVIA eCOA global shipment accounts including facilitation of import/export requirements in support of global clinical trials. Establish goals and objectives, track and deliver on operational/financial performance. You will participate in the broader family's planning process; and coordinate activities with other respective sub-families such as shipping, MDM, and testing.
Responsibilities:
- Lead a team who manages the day to day implementation of eCOA device logistics projects
- Work cross functionally with eCOA logistics management team to provide process control and efficient delivery path
- Coach and mentor team to promote internal growth and development
- Work in close collaboration with the internal or external project stakeholders to achieve the study goals
- Establish strong cross functional relationships with broader eCOA and clinical teams and seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Conduct regular status meetings, reviewing project schedule, risks, issues and outstanding action items with PM team members
- Manages the Lessons Learned process throughout the project lifecycle and strive to enhance project delivery process
- Communicate customer requirements to the eCOA logistics operations and distribution teams, advocate on the customer’s behalf.
- Manage project team members across multiple locations and time zones
- Bachelor Degree or equivalent
- A thorough understanding of Project Management principles – PMP a plus
- In-depth project management experience ideally within clinical research
- Experience and understanding of logistics within the clinical research environment a plus
- Strong leadership, diplomatic and motivational skills
- Open, transparent and excellent communication skills, fluency in English both verbal and written
- Proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment
- Excellent in planning, organizing and monitoring
- Self-motivated, decisive, with the ability to adapt to change and competing demands
- Able to communicate and deal effectively with all levels of the organization
- Solid technical background, with understanding or hands-on experience in software development and clinical technologies (EDC, eCOA, IWRS etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office tools
