We are currently looking for an analyst to join our team in Madrid. The role will be to support the development of research and analyses related to financial valuation topics, such as equity risk premia and risk-free rates, industry multiples, and other statistics, etc., to be published externally or used by valuation engagement teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop and maintain our periodic publications (industry multiples, goodwill impairment analysis, ad hoc articles, etc.)
- Develop risk premia data for EMEA (e.g., equity risk premia, risk free rates, size premia, industry risk premia, betas, and other statistics, etc.). These inputs are a key ingredient to develop discount rates, which are crucial to perform discounted cash flows (DCF) analyses.
- Develop, run and maintain a range of internal models to be used in our analysis.
- Provide quantitative support and model driven recommendations related to cost of capital and other relevant topics.
- Develop templates and models to be used by engagement teams.
- Research valuation and accounting related topics.
- Assist in the creation of content to be used in webinars, infographics, LinkedIn and other social media posts, and other marketing materials.
- Research and monitor economic, financial, and political developments that impact individual country risk assessments.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or Business Administration (with a concentration in Accounting or Finance).
- Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and especially Excel).
- Comfortable working with large data sets.
- A strong command of programming languages, such as VBA, Matlab, or R. Familiarity with other languages like SAS, Python, C++, etc. is a plus.
- Advanced English (C1).
- Strong analytical, critical thinking and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to communicate clearly (both written and spoken).
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments and manage rapidly changing assignments in a team environment.
- Commitment to obtaining outstanding results.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help represent diverse communities.
- Experience working with diverse teams is preferred.
