Reporting to the Finance Director, Europe & Rest of the World, the Finance Manager will be responsible for oversight of all finance, accounting, Taxes and controlling activities from the company in Europe.
- Deliver month end close process for each of the above, including investigation of balances, monthly entries, analysis of position, true-up of accruals
- Month end variance analysis and commentary on all above items
- Conduct monthly analysis and reporting, including dashboards and analytics
- Manage the Accrual Process, including management of accrual and month end reporting process
- Maintain and Report on assigned KPIs, including creation of initial targets
- Support annual audit process
- Manage Month end reporting of Cost Outs (including budget assumptions)
- Manage Balance Sheet and Working Capital forecasting for assigned areas
- Key team member to drive SOX compliance
- Inventory duties include identifying and resolving inventory issues including back-flush over issue, zero cost, discontinued status with inventory on hand, intercompany shipments, and move code accuracy
- Lead annual budgeting process and long-term strategic planning from financial perspective, exploring new growth opportunities
- Global treasury responsibilities include managing "baskets" and ensuring all covenants are adhered to, financial risk management (currency, interest rate, commodity), cash flow forecasting, cash and bank relationship management, establish Treasury technology, debt and investment management, credit agreement compliance, and all associated reporting
- Support the organization by managing all aspects of tax compliance
- Collaborates on cross functional teams and manages complexity by providing direction to different disciplines concerning accounting and finance activities
Perfil Buscado (H/M/D)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (preferred), Finance, or Business Administration; MBA preferred
- 10+ years of experience with having reached manager level in public accounting preferred
- Prior experience with SOX implementation
- Overall Accounting Skills, US/European GAAP Knowledge
- Microsoft office and ERP (Microsoft Dynamics AX is a plus)
- Fluency in English. French is a plus
- Strong leadership skills
- Excellent communication skills including verbal, written, and presentation
- Problem solving, especially with innovative and creative solutions
- Able to coordinate activities between various accounting and finance groups in the company
- Be a team player, positive and pro-active attitude
