A job
where you'll be challenged and have the most fun working in through tech-enabled
experiences.
Your work-life opportunity:
We are looking for a Program Manager to join our Localisation team within the Product
department.
The team is responsible for the localization process of Glovo?s all external content: our mission
is to provide an amazing user experience to our customers, partners, and couriers around the
world.
Your focus will be the end-to-end coordination of long-term localization initiatives with
a wide variety of stakeholders: from product managers, engineering, and business teams to our
local teams in over 20 countries.
You will dive into areas such as localization tooling, process
improvements, cross-departmental collaboration, and quality assurance.
We are looking for someone with strong project and program management skills and with an ability
to break down complex problems into smaller ones and prioritize them effectively.
Be a part of a team where you will:
Be responsible for process improvements related to localization, such as identifying
possibilities to optimize our workflows and increase project management efficiency, including
integrations with other tools and automation.
Coordinate and lead initiatives with other business areas (design, engineering, UX research,
etc).
Define project plans and set milestones, coordinate the advancement of the projects and
ensure their correct execution, removing roadblocks and escalating whenever necessary.
Understand the needs of the Localisation team and its stakeholders.
Map and prioritize their
requirements.
Own our linguistic quality measurement system, including a systematic audit of our
translators, deep-diving into improvement areas, and looking for feedback from internal and
external reviewers.
Track data around localization, such as KPIs and satisfaction surveys with revisers and
stakeholders.
You have:
At least 3 years as a Product or Program or Project Manager, or other relevant
experience.
Demonstrated experience in leading cross-departmental initiatives and building strong
relationships with different stakeholders.
Autonomy.
You are a self-starter and an owner.
You continuously think about what lies ahead
and how to anticipate it.
Hands-on attitude.
Alternating between influencing to make your vision a reality and rolling
up your sleeves to show how it's done, is not foreign to you.
Experience with working with data.
You base your decisions on data, or factual evidence, or
measurable assumptions.
Leadership skills.
You can motivate your teammates to deliver amazing solutions.
You are
comfortable at making tough decisions in a sea of ambiguity and keeping everyone on track.
Result-focus.
You deliver tangible results.
