We are growing fast. This is why we are looking for a Front End Engineering Manager to join the Technology team in Dubai.

You will drive impact across our business process to make buying your home simple and seamless.

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Nomad, you will:
- Architect, design, and develop customer-facing applications and back-office tools on multiple markets
- Take ownership of building new features on the Nomad platform
- Manage cloud infrastructure with Infrastructure as a code (IaaC)
- Collaborate with engineering peers to improve processes and product
- Conduct code reviews and ensure code quality
- Work closely with the product and design team
- Work with our main tech stack which includes Java, Node.js, Nest.js, PostgreSQL, AWS, Serverless stack (Lambda, SQS. SNS, Dynamo DB)

What We Look For:

Experience:

- You have 4+ years of software development experience
- Eager to solve complex engineering problems
- Can lead a project from the technical design stage to release
- Can find a balance between shipping things fast and maintaining the right level of quality
- Know how to solve issues in the distributed systems world
- Cares about the end-user experience and value product delivers
- Strong knowledge of Node.js, Typescript, Nest.js, or AWS Serverless stack
- Experience with AWS Cloud
- Know what happens when your application scales
- Can choose between REST and GraphQL in different cases
- Have excellent communication skills
- Experience with agile development methodologies, particularly Scrum
