SkyShowtime is a new streaming service that will launch later this year, and we're on the hunt for a Marketing & Partnerships Manager to join our team - based in Madrid.


A joint venture of Comcast Corporation and Paramount Global, SkyShowtime brings together the combined resources of both companies, direct-to-consumer experience, and the very best entertainment, movies, and original series from the iconic brands of Universal Pictures, DreamWorks, Sky Studios, Peacock, Paramount +, Showtime, Paramount Pictures and Nickelodeon.


SkyShowtime will be available in more than 20 European markets encompassing 90 million homes. It will be offered in Albania, Andorra, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Hungary, Kosovo, Montenegro, Netherlands, North Macedonia, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, and Sweden.

Position overview and scope:


As the regional Marketing & Partnerships Manager for SkyShowtime Iberia (Spain and Portugal) you will be an integral member of the overall Marketing team and the SkyShowtime regional team. You will play a key role ensuring that the SkyShowtime partners will have a best-in-class onboarding and consistent communication to be able to deliver on high performing consistently branded campaigns to help successfully launch and establish SkyShowtime across Spain and Portugal. You will be responsible of designing and implementing partner incentives and partner activations to support and accelerate growth of the streaming business.



Key responsibilities:


  • Working as part of the wider Marketing team, reporting into the Regional Marketing and Partnerships Director Iberia, the Marketing & Partnerships Manager is responsible for best-in-class planning and execution of high performing B2B marketing campaigns and partner activations, in a close cooperation with our partners.
  • Work with the Regional Marketing and Partnerships lead on planning and managing partner incentives and partner activations in Iberia for the launch of SkyShowtime and beyond.
  • Work collaboratively with internal marketing, PR, social and partnership (distribution) teams and partner agencies, ensuring briefs are clear, messaging is cohesive, and campaigns and executions are seamlessly integrated as part of the overarching SkyShowtime marketing strategy, are locally relevant and impactful and measures to drive awareness, acquisition and retention.
  • Writing robust briefs, briefing partners and agencies and managing marketing assets.
  • Day to day management of the partner contacts.
  • Create and present B2B marketing campaigns and partner activations across the business.
  • Manage the allocated budgets across multiple activity.
  • Establish key workflows between internal stakeholders and partners.
  • You'll be responsible for identifying, suggesting and presenting new opportunities, promotional activity ideas and concepts, for ongoing improvement of our partner activations in Spain and Portugal.



What you’ll bring:


  • Experience in either media agency or in house partner or brand marketing (desired industries: SVOD, Subscription based services, TV, Entertainment).
  • Good understanding of subscription-based/Direct-To-Consumer products. Experience of SVOD, Media/TV/film is a much desired plus.
  • Strong experience in delivering exceptional marketing and promotional campaigns.
  • In-depth experience with partner marketing, building partnerships, understanding the importance of partners and how to interact with them, to build and implement a best-in-class partner strategy.
  • Experience working within a fast-paced marketing environment.
  • Experience working with creative agencies.
  • A digitally savvy marketeer, understanding the shift towards a digital ecosystem in communications.
  • Must be creative, organized, detail orientated and able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously within a fast-paced environment with constantly changing deadlines.
  • Professional entrepreneurship. You start new projects with ease, have a heightened sense of responsibility and ownership, as well as a desire and passion for making SkyShowtime go to market.
  • Experience working with international teams, across multiple markets and cultures.
  • Independent, open, team player and non-hierarchical.
  • Good stakeholder management and experience of working in an international and matrixed organization.
  • Must be fluent in English and with excellent oral and writing skills. Native local language is a must for one of the languages in the respective region.
