- Managing and leading the Communications function, including line management and budget-creation
- Developing and implementing communications programmes and projects that build the Teva brand and profile at both a corporate level and across our commercial structure, and which support the company’s key objectives
- Support of sales and marketing activities through multiple communications channels at both a corporate level and across our commercial business
- Finding and executing ways to support the commercial area and non commercial functions implement their plans
- Communicating a clearly articulated business strategy for Teva Spain and Portugal that engages employees
- Support shaping the business, with a focus on executing best practice and avoiding silos
- Defining and positioning the Teva brand in keeping with global guidelines
- Being responsible for compliance of marketing communications materials compatible with corporate identity guidelines and Teva’s brand strategy
- Defining and implementing communications strategies to support creation and maintenance of an informed, motivated workforce.Leveraging our stakeholder management activities by (for example), preparing Government consultation responses, sharing outputs from trade associations, and maximising opportunities for Teva’s voice to be heard
- Acting as Teva Spain and Portugal contact with media and journalists
- Communications professional qualification
- Training in health sciences
- Fluent English
- Experience of and knowledge in all aspects of external and internal Communications
- Ability to analyse situation and plan actions that contribute strongly to business strategy and objectives
- Good relation with media
- Organisational and project management skills
- Experience in social media and Hootsuite
- Computer literacy in Windows-based packages and design/print industry standard publishing software (e.g. Quark Xpress, Photoshop etc)
- Excellent communication skills – oral and written
- Presentation skills
- Project management
- High level of literacy, including drafting and copywriting
- High level of numeracy, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and act upon data
- Detailed knowledge of communications processes (eg print production, artwork origination, exhibition/conference management, PR practices, etc)
- Information management and interpretation, eg being able to disseminate multiple pieces of information, in different formats and from different sources, into a coherent message or story
- Media relations, including crisis management
- Creativity
- Prioritising workloads for self and team
- Organisational skills, including planning and multi-tasking. Ability to communicate persuasively at all levels with a variety of stakeholders
- Ability to cost and deliver projects within budget
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight time deadlines
- Calm under pressure
