Our app connecting businesses with unsold food, and consumers willing to buy at a discounted rate has grown since 2016 to become the biggest in Europe, with over 50 Million users, and more than 112 million meals saved.

We’re proud of what we’ve achieved so far, but we are just at the start of our journey. We’re looking for an exceptional Key Account Specialist to join the Spanish superstar team at Too Good To Go.

Your mission

You will play a pivotal role in the growth of Too Good To Go by using your experience in the HORECA sector to optimise and close partnerships with franchised stores in the Horeca and Bakery industry. You will also support the business development activities of the team, including preparing for pitches and delivering pilot launches.

Your role

Your primary responsibility is to accelerate franchised stores acquisition within the Horeca and Bakery segment, strengthen and grow relationships with important existing key accounts. You will work with their stakeholders, building trust and rapport with them, while looking for opportunities to expand our commercial partnership, maximise our presence in their estate, and get their business more involved in the food waste movement. Reporting to the Key Account Team Lead responsible, you will work closely with colleagues in our Partner Success team to ensure the successful onboarding of new stores and delivery of training to staff, and collaborate with other Key Accounts team members, as well as colleagues across marketing and independent sales.

The Role Will Include

  • Account Management of key chains: autonomy in managing your own portfolio of chains, ensuring the relationship is strong and business KPIs are met.
  • Account Growth: developing strategies to grow and optimise your accounts and working with the retailer to increase store coverage and overall supply.
  • Planning and forecasting: building reports to track performance and identify trends, create financial projections and forecasts for internal planning and commercial proposals.
  • Contributing to the Key Account strategy and supporting international cooperation across global key chain opportunities.
  • Pitching: When necessary create and deliver high quality, professional presentations to potential partners, and confidently speak about the business and food waste proposition.
  • Proactive business development and relationship building: independently and proactively keep in touch with stakeholders and decision-makers within your accounts.
  • Research: independently search for new opportunities, learn about the businesses in depth, map the stakeholders and understand their decision-making process.
  • Supporting roll outs: working with the team and the retailer to plan, schedule and execute store rollouts at scale.
Requirements

  • Solid commercial experience. The candidate should have an in-depth knowledge and understanding of this sector.
  • Ability to lead negotiations skillfully, and create and deliver high impact pitches.
  • Account Management experience, demonstrating an ability to build rapport, establish trust, deepen relationships, and grow business
  • Excellent commercial acumen.
  • You’re a master communicator, you know when to speak, you know how to listen, and you know how to engage a whole room and keep their attention.
  • A passion for the mission and raising awareness of food waste & sustainability.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to work independently and efficiently.
  • Beneficial: Data Analysis and MS Excel skills to use raw data to create performance reports and projections to identify and understand trends, opportunities and issues.
  • You can be located in Madrid or Barcelona.
  • Full proficiency in Spanish, and C1 level in English.
