POSITION : SALES MANAGER

TRUE WORLD FOODS SPAIN is looking for a motivated individual to look after the sales division. This applicant will, along with their team, be responsible for maintaining strong client loyalty whilst also striving to build up market shares within the seafood wholesale business. The applicant will manage a 4-person sales team and the e-commerce side of the business.

The role will involve:

- Operate and perform in accordance with the business behaviours and processes

- Driving and developing the portfolio of existing direct and trade clients

- Building up direct sales via the existing database and expanding new markets

- Conduct sales negotiations with customers having responsibility for agreeing planned volume, price targets etc.

- Demonstrate leadership in customer engagement

- Monitoring sales and enquiry levels

- Analysing the market and reacting accordingly

- Participating in trade shows and supplier organised functions

- Maintaining relationships with suppliers for quality performance

- Administrative tasks to ensure that the activities of the department run smoothly and are well co-ordinated.

- To achieve as a minimum the annual sales plan KPI’s of volume, price, and product mix.

- This position will be reporting to the Managing Director.


To be considered for this position you must have:

- A natural flair for sales. The ideal candidate will be dynamic, autonomous and ready for the challenge.

- Good communication skills to maintain healthy working relationships with the team and customers.

- A keen eye for analysis and follow up of the market.

- Knowledge or experience in Wholesale food sales will be an advantage

- Ability to converse in Spanish and English.

- Good communication skills

- Flexible, adaptable to change, enthusiastic, energetic and driven with a strong work ethic

- Microsoft Office literate


Work Schedule:

8-hour shift

5 day work week, between Monday to Saturday.

- Work place based in Merca Madrid

- Remuneration depending on experience

- Pay will be adjusted once confirmed after probation
