Our client, a dominant British Private Equity firm who operate across three continents is currently looking for a Bilingual (Native English Speaking) Communications & Marketing Assistant. This role will be conducted from the Madrid office however will be to support a team based in London and the USA.
Responsibilities will be split across Communication, Marketing and Executive Assistant tasks. These include (but are not limited to):
· Complex agenda management for the Director of Communications, prioritising effectively and anticipating schedule conflicts
· Prepare point to point travel for Director and team within the firm’s guidelines (hotels, flights, visas, cars, etc.)
· Acting as the first point of contact for the Comms & Marketing team
· Handling journalistic enquiries in a timely and polite manner
· Preparing and updating PowerPoint presentations for Deal & Investor Relations teams, often to tight deadlines
· Updating relevant documentation such as valuations reports including necessary graphic design, detailed data and videos
· Assisting with ad-hoc projects such as large reports, branding redesign, intranet updates
· Formatting Newsletters
· Updating websites with new text and press releases
· Uploading relevant content to social media and improving LinkedIn & Twitter presence, ensuring consistent and congruent message across channels
· Working closely with different members of the close team to ensure project completion
· General Administration: including managing and updating the database and archiving
· Ad hoc admin tasks as required for both the team and wider firm’s global team
It is essential that the chosen candidate is a native English speaker or fully bilingual in English (this is a global role, conducted entirely in English and involves producing and editing copy in English). Whilst Spanish is a plus for integration within the Madrid office, it is not absolutely essential. The candidate should be degree-qualified (ideally English/Linguistics) with experience in a similar team (preferably financial PR or comms/marketing within banking sector). A solid grasp of standard Tech and applications is required whilst exposure to website back-ends, InDesign and DealCloud will be viewed favourably too.
The ideal candidate will be creative whilst also practical. They must be responsive and able to work independently with limited guidance. They will be proactive, demonstrate exceptional communication skills and enjoy working in a tight-knit team within a larger firm. They should also be comfortable with being available out of hours for infrequent but urgent matters (particularly relevant due to the global reach of this firm).

Salary – Dependent on Experience
Timetable – Full time, Hours to coincide with UK team
Incorporation – Q3 2022
Contract: Permanent, subject to trial period
