Research Assistant I/II in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 532249) (to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal)
Applicants should have a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferably in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Biostatistics, or a related discipline. Proficiency in R, Python, or C++ is required. Familiarity with Linux and Bash, as well as experience with genomic data analysis are preferred. Applicants should be organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently as well as in a team. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical/dental benefits.

Applicants should possess a B.Sc. degree preferably in Biomedical Sciences, Biological Sciences or a related discipline. Those with previous experience in biological related research would be preferred. Applicants should be organized, self-motivated, attentive to detail and able to work independently as well as in a team. The appointee will assist in overseeing the smooth running of the laboratory under the supervision of Prof. Stephanie Ma. He/she will primarily be responsible for laboratory housekeeping, ordering of consumables, invoice payment, general lab maintenance and facilitating research activities in relation to liver cancer cell plasticity and liver cancer immunology projects.
