Job Description:WeGive is seeking a strategic and experienced Director of Partnerships to join our team. As the Director of Partnerships, you will play a critical role in developing and nurturing strategic partnerships with organizations that share our mission and values. You will be responsible for building strong relationships, identifying collaboration opportunities, and driving initiatives that maximize the impact of our collective efforts.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive partnership strategy to expand and strengthen WeGive's network of strategic alliances and collaborations.
- Identify and engage potential partners, including nonprofits, corporate entities, foundations, and other relevant organizations aligned with our mission.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new partners, serving as the primary point of contact for partnership-related activities.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify partnership opportunities and develop joint initiatives that drive mutual value.
- Conduct thorough research and analysis to evaluate partnership potential and assess alignment with organizational goals.
- Negotiate and finalize partnership agreements, ensuring clear expectations, deliverables, and accountability measures are established.
- Manage the ongoing performance of partnerships, including monitoring progress, tracking metrics, and conducting regular check-ins with partners.
- Work closely with the marketing and communications teams to develop joint marketing materials, campaigns, and events to promote partnerships.
- Stay informed about industry trends, best practices, and emerging opportunities in the nonprofit and partnership landscape.
- Represent WeGive at relevant events, conferences, and meetings to expand our network and build brand visibility.
- Provide regular reports to executive leadership on partnership activities, outcomes, and potential areas for growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Nonprofit Management, or a related field (Master's degree is a plus).
- Proven track record of successfully developing and managing strategic partnerships, preferably in the nonprofit or corporate social responsibility sector.
- Strong network of contacts and connections within the nonprofit or related industries.
- Excellent relationship-building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts and build consensus among diverse stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and business acumen, with the ability to identify partnership opportunities that align with organizational goals and drive impact.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills, with a keen eye for detail and ensuring mutual benefits.
- Ability to work collaboratively and cross-functionally, fostering teamwork and driving alignment across departments.
- Results-oriented mindset, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes and impact through partnerships.
- Flexibility to travel as required for partnership meetings and events.
