About You

The Research Assistant will undertake research activities in line with the University’s research strategy and the funding research agreement. It is expected that you will work with an increasing degree of autonomy as skills and experience develop. This is an ongoing project within the School and can be extended for the successful candidate based on performance.

To be successful in this position, you’ll have :

Evidence of proficiency in software development in Java and Python using industry best-practices.

Demonstrated ability to undertake data analysis and algorithm design in R.

Experience in modelling and simulation, particularly the design and development of agent-based models.

Evidence of critical thinking and problem solving in a research environment.

Ability to work autonomously whilst displaying a strong commitment to work in a team environment, including the demonstrated ability to confidently and effectively work with colleagues, project team leaders, and industry partners.

Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and effectively manage varying workloads and respond to changing priorities as required.

Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills.

Bachelor (with Honours equivalent) or Masters (with Research thesis component) in Computer Science or related discipline area or PhD thesis under examination.

Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, and IT programs at RMIT University are offered in the School of Computing Technologies, one of Australia’s largest and leading educational facilities in the field. Descripció del lloc de treball

Descripció

El Centre Tecnològic BETA està format per un equip jove multidisciplinari de 130 persones, entre personal investigador i personal tècnic, i busca incorporar una persona dinàmica amb ganes de formar part d'aquest projecte.

Es busca un Tècnic o una Tècnica de projectes competitius europeus que entri a formar part de l'equip de gestió del centre.

La persona seleccionada s'encarregarà de la gestió, control i seguiment econòmic-financer de projectes competitius europeus en execució fins a dur-ne a terme la justificació final i el tancament econòmic d'aquest, donant suport a l'investigador per assegurar la correcta implementació dels projectes en els terminis i formats requerits per cada organisme finançador.

Entre els projectes a gestionar hi haurà projectes coordinats, on la persona incorporada com a Financial Manager, actuant d'enllaç entre els diferents membres del consorci i l'agència de finançament pel que fa a tasques administratives, legals i financeres.

També podrà donar suport a l'investigador i al Business Developer del centre en la preparació de propostes de finançament i en el seu enviament i acceptació.

Funcions i Tasques

Participació activa en la gestió integral de projectes competitius, principalment europeus (com Horizon Europe), des de la seva posada en marxa fins al tancament.

Les Tasques Inclouen

• Control i seguiment de projectes competitius coordinats (principalment Programa Horizon Europe) i no coordinats.
• Preparació i gestió dels acords (Grant Agreement, Consortium Agreement) i dels possibles canvis o modificacions (amendments).
• Coordinació general del projecte: comunicació amb l’agència finançadora i amb els socis del consorci.
• Suport a l’Investigador/a Principal en la planificació i seguiment de les activitats, terminis i objectius del projecte.
• Seguiment tècnic del projecte: planificació i actualització de deliverables, informes, milestones i resultats.
• Organització de reunions i esdeveniments (interns i externs) relacionats amb el projecte.
• Coordinació del flux de comunicació entre els membres del consorci i suport en la gestió documental.
• Seguiment i gestió del pressupost del projecte: anàlisi de viabilitat, ajustaments, preparació de justificacions econòmiques i suport en auditories.
• Control de dedicació del personal (timesheets) i suport en la contractació de recursos humans o serveis relacionats amb el projecte.
• Registre i actualització de la informació dels projectes a les eines internes de gestió.
  
  

Requisits

Decret d’homologació dels títols del personal docent i investigador i personal tècnic de gestió, d’administració i serveis

Segons el Reial decret 889/2022 (Reial Decret 889/2022), l’homologació dels títols expedits a l’estranger habilita per a l’exercici d’una professió regulada a Espanya.

Les persones que presentin la seva candidatura a convocatòries de personal docent i investigador (PDI), i personal investigador (PI) sense docència, i que no disposin de l’homologació de la titulació requerida a la convocatòria, poden presentar, juntament amb la traducció del títol a l’espanyol, la declaració d’equivalència del títol tramitada a l’estat espanyol. També és vàlid el document de sol·licitud d’aquesta declaració, amb el compromís de presentar la declaració oficial d’equivalència en un termini màxim de 3 anys (el no compliment d’aquest compromís porta a la rescissió del contracte amb la institució, d’acord amb l’article 49 b) del Reial decret legislatiu 2/2015, de 23 d’octubre, pel que s’aprova el text refós de la Llei de l’estatut dels treballadors).

Les persones que presentin la seva candidatura a convocatòries de personal tècnic de gestió, d’administració i serveis (PTGAS) i que no disposin de l’homologació de la titulació universitària que calgui presentar en l’àmbit objecte de la convocatòria, poden presentar, juntament amb la traducció del títol a l’espanyol, la declaració d’equivalència del títol tramitada a l’estat espanyol. Cicle formatiu de grau superior o equivalent en àmbits relacionats amb l’objecte de la convocatòria.

Acreditació del nivell de suficiència de llengua catalana (nivell C1) o estar en condicions d'obtenir-lo.

Acreditació del nivell B2 d'anglès o estar en condicions d'obtenir-lo.

• Domini avançat del Paquet Office (Word, Excel, Acces, Power Point).
• Experiència prèvia (mínim 2 anys) en gestió de projectes de recerca competitius.
• Coneixement dels programes de finançament d’R+D+I europeus i internacionals, especialment coneixement del Programa H2020 i Horizon Europe.
• Experiència en l'àmbit universitari o de centres de recerca.
• Habilitat organitzativa i de gestió del temps.
• Capacitat per treballar sota pressió i subjecte a terminis.

• Titulació universitària en l'àmbit de ciències ambientals, químiques, biologia, enginyeries, ciències socials, dret o similars.
• Títol de doctorat.
• Experiència en coordinació de consorcis pel desenvolupament de projectes europeus.

• Coneixement dels programes de finançament d’R+D+I estatals i catalans.
