- Cortijo El Indiviso is a charming rural working guest farm located in the scenic southern area of Spain near Vejer de la Frontera, a picturesque white hilltop town. The property features expansive lawns, stunning views, seven en-suite rooms, two apartments, a large Main Hall, and a beautiful courtyard. Guests can enjoy the peaceful tranquility of the country and experience the presence of various animals including rescued horses, donkeys, ponies, goats, cats, dogs, and chickens. Cortijo El Indiviso is just 10 minutes from beautiful beaches and close to numerous historic and attractive towns. We host touring groups and we are looking to formalise yoga and wellness
and mindfulness experiences
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager located in Vejer de la Frontera. The General Manager will oversee daily operations of the guest farm, ensuring high standards of guest service, maintaining facilities, and managing staff. Core responsibilities include coordinating activities, managing bookings, overseeing agricultural operations, and fostering a welcoming environment for guests. The role involves financial management, marketing, and maintaining relationships with suppliers and partners.
This is a unique opportunity for someone who enjoys working in nature and understands the value of becoming a valued member of our team.
Qualifications
- Experience in hospitality management, guest services, and facility maintenance.
- Proficiency in financial management and budgeting including use microsoft office.
- Strong marketing and communication skills
- Leadership and team management abilities
- Fluency in Spanish and English
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Agriculture, or related field is preferred
- Previous experience in a similar role is a plus
- An empathic attitude towards animals ( if this isnt a qualification it should be )
