Position Overview
The Faculty of Law, Business??and Government at Universidad Francisco de Vitoria invites applications for the position of Assistant Professor of Law, with primary assignment to the Bachelor's Degree in Philosophy, Politics, Law and Economics (PPLE), fully taught in English.
The Faculty operates as a College model that integrates more than 8 undergraduate degree programs through a shared curriculum in the first year.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Foundations of Law, a required first-year College course for all undergraduate students????? across these programs, as well as advanced law courses within the PPLE degree.
This position offers the opportunity to shape how hundreds of students from diverse academic backgrounds first encounter legal thinking, helping them understand law and legal systems through the lens of human dignity, justice, and the common good.
The role allows the candidate to participate in an innovative educational project that approaches law as more than a technical discipline, integrating it with philosophy, politics, economics, and other disciplines across the College.
Position Responsibilities
Teach Foundations of Law, a required first-year College course for all undergraduate students across the Faculty's 10+ degree programs
Teach advanced law courses within the PPLE program and potentially other degree programs within the College
Design and deliver course materials that make legal concepts and reasoning accessible and relevant to students from diverse academic backgrounds
Develop pedagogical approaches that integrate legal analysis with ethical reflection, philosophical foundations, and the pursuit of justice and the common good
Contribute to the interdisciplinary dialogue between law and other disciplines within the College model
Engage in research activities within your area of expertise, particularly in areas related to legal philosophy, natural law, human rights, or other approaches that ground law in human dignity and the common good
Supervise bachelor theses and mentor students in their intellectual and personal development
Participate in College activities, including seminars, lectures, and academic events
Collaborate with colleagues across disciplines to foster the College's interdisciplinary mission
Required Qualifications
Academic Background
PhD in Law, Legal Philosophy, or related field (completed)
A truly interdisciplinary profile demonstrated by holding a degree (undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral) in fields such as philosophy, political science, economics, theology, or other disciplines that complement law; or significant coursework and research engagement across multiple disciplines
Evidence of interdisciplinary work through publications, research projects, teaching experiences, or collaborative initiatives that bridge law with other fields
Early career profile: PhD completed or currently finishing a? post-doctoral placement.
A publication record that meets the requirements for Assistant Professor level (Profesor Ayudante Doctor) in the Spanish accreditation system (ANECA)

We are looking for a motivated Technical Office to join our Finishing Works Department for an exciting large-scale construction project in Barcelona.
This is a great opportunity to be part of a dynamic international team and contribute to one of the most significant structural works currently underway in the city.
The Technical Office Engineer/ Architect for Finishing Works will support the site and project teams in the planning, coordination, and execution of finishing activities.
This role involves reviewing technical documentation, preparing reports, coordinating with subcontractors, supporting material approvals, and ensuring that all finishing works are carried out according to project specifications.
The position requires strong technical knowledge of architectural and finishing trades, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.
Keys Responsibilities
- Review drawings, specifications, and technical documents related to finishing works.
- Prepare technical reports, method statements, and documentation required for inspections and approvals.
- Coordinate with site teams to ensure the correct implementation of finishing activities.
- Assist in the preparation and follow-up of material submissions, samples, and approvals.
- Support the resolution of technical issues by liaising with design teams when necessary.

Minimum Requirements

- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and construction documents.

Key Responsibilities:
- Deal Sourcing: Identify and source potential investment opportunities in various sectors in Europe.
- Due Diligence: Conduct thorough financial and operational due diligence on potential investment targets, including financial analysis, market research, and risk assessment.

Main Purpose Of Job
Ensure that the 247 group (6 legal registered entities currently in Spain with focus on Fitness (The IO) and Real Estate) and it's owner receive legal advice within strategic and operational matters.
Ensure that the 247 group and it's owner meet legal requirements in Spain and other countries where we operate commercially.
Main Responsibilities
Take an active part in business development, negotiations and legal aspects on operational matters, including litigation, expansion and new business ideas.
Take an overall responsibility for legal documentation and contracts (members, suppliers, rental agreements, employees etc).
Execute directives on group restructuring, the founding of companies and other group legal affairs.
Identify and minimize legal risks and exposure for 247 Group companies and owner.
Secure Loan Agreements And Other Inter-company Transactions.
Lead legal-specific projects and participate in development projects, such as concept or business development projects or construction undertakings.
Be a driving force in financial analysis, investment valuation and business case modelling.
Be an active and reliable sparring partner for the owner in commercial, tax and legal matters, also of private nature.
Represent 247 Group and owner in relevant official contexts, such as contacts with authorities, suppliers etc.
Be an active and reliable contact for other departments within the group when dealing with legal matters.

The position as Legal Counsel will be based at the 247 Group headquarters in Marbella, Spain. The position will report to the Head of Concept/Office Manager but also indirectly and frequently to the owner Mr Christian Ask.
