Senior Product Manager - Customer Growth, Last Mile Rentals Expansion
myGwork · Madrid, ES
.
This job is with Amazon, an inclusive employer and a member of myGwork – the largest global platform for the LGBTQ+ business community. Please do not contact the recruiter directly.
Description
At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth, constantly improving how we fulfill and deliver orders right to our customers' doorsteps. The Last Mile Rental (LMR) team is at the forefront of this mission, pioneering an innovative vehicle sharing program that enables more flexible and efficient delivery operations. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing program within Amazon Logistics and help shape the future of last-mile delivery.
In this role, you will own the demand and utilization flywheel that drives rental growth and fleet efficiency across the LMR program. You'll define the product strategy that converts customer insights into initiatives that increase vehicle utilization, rental conversion, and repeat usage. Your expertise in customer behavior analysis, growth experimentation, and data-driven product development will be essential as you identify why customers choose to rent-or not-and translate those insights into scalable product improvements. You'll architect the value proposition and go-to-market strategy that differentiates the vehicle sharing program, while building mechanisms that continuously capture customer voice and drive customer-led innovation. Working across product, marketing, operations, and analytics, you'll lead cross-functional initiatives that drive program growth and sustainability.
This role is available in Madrid, London or Luxembourg.
Key job responsibilities
- Customer Demand & Conversion Strategy: Define product strategy that drives rental demand and customer conversion across the rental lifecycle. Identify why customers choose to rent-or choose not to-and translate behavioral insights into product initiatives that increase adoption and repeat usage.
- Pricing Strategy & Optimization: Own pricing strategy and commercial models that maximize utilization and program sustainability. Develop and test pricing frameworks that balance customer value with business viability, partnering with operations to implement data-driven pricing decisions.
- Utilization & Growth Analytics: Analyze vehicle utilization patterns and rental trends to identify opportunities for improved fleet efficiency. Develop frameworks to measure customer engagement, conversion rates, and repeat usage metrics that inform product roadmap decisions.
- Value Proposition & Market Positioning: Architect go-to-market strategy and value propositions that differentiate the vehicle sharing program and drive customer preference. Monitor rental industry trends, competitor activities, and customer preferences to inform strategic positioning and identify emerging opportunities.
- Cross-Functional Product Leadership: Partner with marketing, operations, and analytics teams to align initiatives that improve customer acquisition, retention, and fleet utilization. Communicate strategy, insights, and results to senior leadership.
As a Senior Product Manager - Customer Growth, you'll spend your days uncovering the "why" behind rental decisions. You'll dive into customer feedback sessions, analyze booking abandonment patterns, and run experiments to test hypotheses about what drives conversion. One day you might be modeling pricing scenarios to find the optimal balance between affordability and program viability. The next, you're presenting market intelligence on competitor offerings to inform positioning decisions. You'll perform analysis that tracks leading indicators of demand shifts, partner with operations to understand supply constraints, and work with the communications team to craft messaging that resonates with target segments.
About The Team
You'll be joining a dynamic team of product and process improvement managers who combine strategic thinking with operational excellence. We're a collaborative group that thrives on solving complex challenges and driving innovation in the last-mile delivery space. Our team maintains a startup mindset while leveraging Amazon's scale to create lasting impact. We value diverse perspectives and are passionate about mentoring and developing our team members as we continue to grow and expand our program globally.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, economics, business or equivalent
- Experience in product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology
- Experience using data and metrics to back up assumptions, evaluate outcomes, and make data-driven decisions
- Experience managing, analyzing and communicating results to senior leadership while working cross functionally across several teams
- Experience with pricing and selection strategy
- Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, conjoint/trade-off modeling
- Experience in vehicle rental, fleet management, mobility services, or marketplace platforms

Meet the team!
Preply is growing quickly. Once a scrappy startup, we’re now firmly in scale-up mode — continuously evolving how we work to match our growth. The Preply product and technology teams are now substantially larger than they were a few years ago, and therefore it is critical to us that, as we scale, we maintain the pace and dynamism that has brought so much success for Preply over the past years.
For this reason we are hiring our first Senior Product Strategy & Operations Manager to help us take our Product team to the next level, to ensure the ways we work across our product organisation are first class, and to make sure we’re able to manage the tricky balance of execution, collaboration, speed, quality, focus, communication, and much more. This is a key role in the product team and will report directly to the Chief Product Officer.
This role provides unrivalled access to the day-to-day of how Preply runs its product and technology organisation. You’ll be at the heart of our planning and decision-making, and will support the team at every level. Your closest partner will be the CPO and VP-level product leaders, and you’ll work closely day-to-day with Product Managers, Designers, Engineering leaders and others.
If you are equally passionate about delivering amazing product experiences, and building effective organizations that work collaboratively and at high velocity, this role if for you. It sits at the heart of a world-class product organization — helping it evolve and scale for the next phase of growth.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operational cadence: Set up and run the operational rhythm of the Product org, leading rituals such as Product Reviews, Roadmap Reviews, and OKR cycles.
- Driving alignment: Own the quarterly and annual product planning processes to ensure strong cross-team alignment so everyone is pulling in the same direction.
- Team transformation: Define how our Product, Design, and Tech teams will scale — identifying challenges and bottlenecks, and designing effective ways for teams to collaborate and grow.
- OKR leadership: Drive goal-setting and tracking across the team, ensuring each squad is focused on outcomes and supported in hitting their targets.
- Strategic initiatives: Lead or support diverse strategic initiatives — such as how we balance speed and quality as a team, or how to approach pricing in our marketplace — from scoping and analysis to stakeholder alignment and delivery.
- Organizational improvement: Constantly look for ways to improve how we operate - identifying pain points, proposing solutions, and driving implementation for better ways of working, tooling, and processes.
- Hands-on experience working closely with product teams: you’ve operated in or alongside product squads in fast-growing, product-led tech companies, and understand their day-to-day reality.
- Deep understanding of modern product organizations and team dynamics: how empowered product squads work, and how to enable them to deliver at scale.
- Systems thinking: with a track record of identifying gaps in how teams operate and designing practical improvements to planning, ways of working, and collaboration systems that scale.
- Proven ability to drive change: you identify the “why,” design solutions collaboratively, and secure adoption through education and rituals, working closely with teams on the ground.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills: you build trust with both leadership and product teams, working collaboratively and adapting your approach based on feedback. You know how to influence and align others, using empathy to bring people together and drive things forward.
- Highly numerate and comfortable with data: you’re confident working with data, building models or spreadsheets (e.g. headcount planning, impact tracking), and using data to inform decisions and trade-offs.
- Excellent bias-to-action: you will be a key part of keeping team momentum moving forward. You’ll need to work out how to get things done with minimal support and keep momentum high.
