We are seeking a strategic and hands-on Product Manager to own and drive the core of our peer-review platform. Our peer-review platform manages 100 of thousands of manuscripts each year and is powering all of our peer-review activities.
This is a high-impact role that will collaborate closely with Publishing leadership, other Product Managers, and Technology teams. Your goal is to help continuously improve the workflows that power our entire publishing platform, allowing configurability for the variety of needs for our journals and researchers, whilst ensuring manuscript pipeline conversion.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the product vision, roadmap, and execution for the Core team.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the core peer-review workflows and platform improvement initiatives within Publishing Operations.
- Work closely with the Research Integrity, Review Operations, and Production teams to deeply understand their processes, challenges, and needs.
- Partner with Product Managers of the core publishing platform to ensure seamless integration and data flow between systems.
- Translate operational requirements into clear user stories and collaborate with Salesforce & Tableau admins, developers, and other stakeholders to deliver solutions.
- Coordinate product launch with our Publishing Operations counterpart ensuring effective delivery of your work without negatively impacting operations.
- Monitor platform performance, gather user feedback, and continuously iterate to improve the user experience.
- Ensure data integrity, automation quality, and platform stability.
- Proven experience as a Product Manager, or Product Owner on software applications.
- Strong stakeholder management skill and ability to federate through strong rationale and collaboration
- Demonstrated technical skills especially on workflows and architecture.
- Strong analytical skills and prior experience in this area – demonstrated ability to drive insights from data.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams with engineers, administrators, and end-users and lead discussion through critical thinking.
- Solid communication skills in English, both written and verbal
- Existing understanding of publishing workflows.
- Experience in academic or scientific publishing operations.

This role is pivotal in shaping how Energy & Industrial data is ingested, processed, stored mapped to semantic models, and exposed through modern data products.
You will work closely with engineering, architecture, and domain experts to define product vision, prioritize capabilities, and ensure delivery aligns with business outcomes. The ideal candidate combines industrial domain knowledge, cloud-native data architecture experience (Microsoft Azure preferred), and a passion for data-driven innovation.
Key Responsibilities
• Product Roadmap
- Define and own the roadmap for the data platform, with focus on ingestion, processing and storage of data
- Translate business needs into clear product requirements and success metrics
- Contribute to the overall formation of data product startegy
• Capability Development
- Drive implementation of OneLake Medallion architecture, ingestion pipelines, and data product management frameworks.
- Good understanding of RDF stores, domain ontologies, and physical-to-semantic mapping processes.
• Stakeholder Engagement

What qualifications will make you successful for this role?
Required Qualifications
- Industrial Background: Experience in manufacturing, energy, or process industries with understanding of OT/IT integration.
- Cloud Expertise: Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data services (Azure Data Lake, Synapse, Event Hub, Data Factory, Purview).
- Data Architecture Knowledge: Familiarity with Medallion architecture, data pipelines, and semantic technologies (RDF, SPARQL, SHACL).
- Product Management Skills: Proven ability to define roadmaps, write user stories, and manage backlog in Agile environments.
- Communication & Leadership: Strong ability to influence cross-functional teams and articulate technical concepts to business stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with AI/ML platforms (Azure Machine Learning, feature stores, MLOps).
- Knowledge of industrial data standards (OPC UA, ISA-95, ISO 50001).

As a Staff Product Data Analyst, you’ll leverage data to drive strategic decision-making and optimize product performance. This role is integral to our product team, ensuring data-driven decisions guide our product strategy and innovation efforts.
You’ll join the Product Insights department, composed of the Product Data Analytics team and Product Research team. In charge of having a 360 customer knowledge view, we combine quantitative and qualitative insights to inform the product roadmap. You will be responsible to support the Growth product line, focused on making the Product self-serve, from trial to conversion, and partner directly with the Director/VP of Product. You will be reporting to the Data Analytics manager of this team.
What You’ll Do
- Identify and establish the core Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that the product team will focus on to measure product success and impact. Ensure these KPIs align with overall business objectives and provide a clear framework for evaluating product performance.
- Guide and empower product teams with advanced methodologies and analytical tools to foster a data-driven culture. Provide training and support to ensure teams can independently leverage data insights in their decision-making processes.
- Help shape the experimentation strategy of our fast-paced team by designing A/B tests and testing guidelines, aligning success metrics across cross-functional teams, validating the technical setup, tracking experiment performance, and guiding stakeholders on expected time to insights and interpretation of results.
- Conduct thorough analysis of product performance metrics and user behavior to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Use these insights to drive strategic decisions that enhance product functionality, user experience, and market competitiveness.
- Partner with the Product researcher of your line to create and maintain an overview of the performance insights uncovered throughout the customer journey, identify the customer knowledge gaps that remain and leverage critical thinking to proactively influence the product roadmap discussions.
- You’ll partner directly with the Director of Product of the Line you’re covering.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis, data modeling, and data visualization. Ability to interpret complex data sets and translate findings into actionable insights.
- Experience with data analysis, data modeling and visualization tools (SQL, DBT, Excel, Tableau, or similar software). Expertise in creating advanced data visualizations that effectively communicate complex insights to a broad audience, including dashboards and interactive reports.
- Capacity to identify issues, analyze root causes, and develop effective solutions. Ability to approach problems methodically and think critically. Meticulous in analyzing data and ensuring accuracy. Ability to validate findings thoroughly and maintain high standards in data integrity and reporting.
- Ability to convey complex data insights clearly and effectively to non-technical stakeholders. Strong written and verbal communication skills for reporting and presentations.
- Experience working in cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, and designers. Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
- Understanding of business strategy and how data-driven insights can support and enhance product and business goals. Ability to align data analysis with business objectives.
- You’ll need to have a prior experience as a data analyst and to hold a business or engineering degree.

- Understanding of machine learning concepts and experience with implementing predictive models to forecast product performance and user behavior.
- Previous experience in product management or working closely with product leaders to understand the full product lifecycle and strategic considerations.
- Experience in the specific industry relevant to the company’s products, providing contextual understanding that can enhance the analysis and recommendations.
