THE JOURNEY

• Implement and standardize tools, analytical processes, and playbooks to help local teams develop the category
• Develop the Top Accounts business step by step, being part of multiple projects and being a resourceful multi-tasker
• Handle tracking and reporting of performance metrics
• Coordinate with the different regions/countries in order to understand key insights about local markets
• Evaluate strategic opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analysis
• Actively collaborate with your colleagues and learn from each other in a supportive environment that allows you to grow, develop and make a difference

WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO THE RIDE?

• Interested in the retail world and ready to deep dive into the Pharma, Beauty, Pets, Electronics categories
• Out of the box thinker and high level of self-initiative (proactive in finding new solutions to complex issues)
• Data-driven mentality: takes decisions based on data and makes business judgment when necessary
• Strong analytical skills are a must
• You’re an owner, you have a natural bias for action, always pushing for things to happen, objective and deadline oriented. You are obsessed with making things happen!
• Strong organizational skills, ability to prioritize & multitask and work well under pressure in a dynamic environment
• Ability to engage internal and external stakeholders through effective communication skills

Your Mission

Ready for a challenge? We’re looking for a forward-thinking Head of Employment Law to help us shape the future of Glovo. This is a pivotal role, where you’ll lead the advice to our core business, impacting how we engage, empower, and protect our Rider community. You’ll navigate some of the most complex litigations while forging a new operating model that sets new standards in the gig economy. This role is where deep legal expertise meets creative problem-solving to help redefine what fair, flexible, and sustainable work looks like in the gig economy.

In The Journey You Will

Lead the team of specialised employment lawyers who are redefining Glovo’s operating model in Spain, and oversee our HR operations in Yellow Park. Impact business operations and product with effective and out of the box advice.

• Manage and coordinate litigation, investigations, and disputes, working with external counsel when needed.
• Anticipate risks and recommend solutions to our management, including Public Affairs and settlement strategies.
• Oversee strategic engagement with Works Councils and Unions to foster constructive social dialogue.
• Builds strong relationships with executive and functional heads at Glovo, while working closely with and reporting to our parent entity.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Ride

You are a Spanish qualified employment lawyer, with strong litigation experience, and 6 PQE, ideally combining experience in a reputable law firm, and advising tech companies.

• You have led high performing teams, and are able to build strong relationships with your team, executives and functional leads through credibility and mutual respect.
• You have excellent verbal and written communication in both English and Spanish; you have mastered executive communication and are able to simplify complex legal concepts for non-lawyers.
• You have a hands-on approach to work and are always ready to roll up your sleeves to get things done.
• Your advice is pragmatic and impactful, and you are able to balance legal risk with business opportunity.

YOUR MISSION

Glovo is looking for an intern to support the payroll team dedicated to payment of riders in this exceptional transition period.

As an intern, you will be primarily focused on addressing payroll-related inquiries and resolving concerns for our riders. The ideal candidate will ensure each customer interaction results in effective issue resolution and a positive experience for our rider!

THE JOURNEY

• Respond to inbound queries related to rider payroll (JIRA Ticket system)
• Clearly and effectively communicate payroll policies, procedures, and general updates to riders.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies in rider payments, ensuring accurate and timely issuer resolution.
• Escalate unresolved or system-related issues to the appropriate internal teams when necessary.
• Maintain detailed records of rider interactions, following up where required to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Proactively identify process gaps or recurring issues and suggest improvements to enhance rider experience.
  
  

What You Will Bring To The Ride

• Empathetic and calm attitude
• Knowledge of Excel/Googlesheets
• Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) in Spanish and English.
