Scopely is looking for an Engineering Manager (Web Platform) to join our unannounced project in Barcelona on a hybrid basis working 3 days a week from the hub.

What You Will Do
We are looking for a Engineering Manager (Web Platform) to lead a team of engineers with a strong focus on modern web development stacks to help build and maintain the backend for our Game LiveOps platform. In this role, you’ll work closely with product teams, designers, and other disciplines to deliver high-performance tools and features that support real-time operations and engaging gameplay experiences.
- Leadership: Lead a high performing team of fullstack engineers by proposing and implementing improvements to the development processes, workflows and tools, to increase efficiency, quality and throughput.
- Collaboration: Work with Production and Product Owners to own the development cycle and identify the engineering tasks and processes needed to complete the roadmap. Maintain positive working relationships with technology teams within Scopely to improve the use of shared technologies.
- Communication: Facilitate communication both within and across disciplines. Facilitate and encourage the sharing of technical knowledge and code between projects.
- Growth: Participate in activities of recruitment, onboarding, development and professional training of the team. Define clear objectives to direct reports.
- LiveOps & Live Services: Lead the Development of features that support live game operations, empowering our designers and operators with real-time control and insights.
- Scalable Solutions: Lead the design and implementation of high-performance, low-latency web services in a cloud environment (AWS preferred) that can handle millions of players.
- Automation & Best Practices: Contribute to CI/CD pipelines design and implementation of automated tests to ensure high standards of code quality and maintainability.
- Technical Guidance: Lead code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture planning to ensure best practices and continuous improvement of the engineering practices.
- Experience: professional experience as senior software engineer, with a strong foundation in programming and web development and with relevant experience in a team leadership role
- Leadership: track record of working in complex products (games is a bonus), leading initiatives from 0 to 1 with high degree of collaboration and quality with cross functional teams and multiple teams working on the same product and the same roadmap
- Backend Proficiency: hands-on experience in modern backend languages (Python strongly preferred; Go or C# also a plus).
- Web Technologies: Solid experience in the development of RESTful services and modern web frameworks (Vue.js or Angular preferred). Experience with JavaScript (ES6), TypeScript, and CSS preprocessors (e.g., SCSS) is essential
- Database Expertise: experience with relational databases (MySQL/Postgres) and caching solutions (Redis), as well as other NoSQL databases like DynamoDB
- Cloud & Containers: Professional experience with containerized solutions (Docker, AWS ECS, Kubernetes) in a public cloud environment (AWS preferred). Infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) is a bonus.
- Automation & CI/CD: experience with setting up and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, automated tests, and load testing for robust production deployments.
- Engineering Best Practices: Committed to enforce and practice clean, maintainable, and testable code, with an emphasis on performance and scalability.

Tu rol dentro de Unicaja
Queremos sumar a nuestro Hub de IAG un/a Experto en Desarrollo Back Python apasionado/a por la innovación y la transformación digital. Serás parte de un entorno multidisciplinar, innovador y con impacto real en el sector a través de la tecnología.

- Responsable de garantizar la viabilidad técnica en la implementación del backend de cada sistema.

Lo que buscamos:
Experiencia:
- 5-10 años de experiencia gestionando de proyectos de desarrollo de aplicaciones de software tradicional con Python e IA Tradicional. Será valorable que hayas trabajado en proyectos de desarrollo de aplicaciones IA Generativa con Python (Langchain o Llamaindex) al menos durante 1 año.
- Formación académica en Ingeniería Informática, Ingeniería de Software, Ingeniería de Telecomunicaciones o áreas afines.
Además, es necesario que seas:
- Proactivo, resolutivo y con orientación a resultados. Que tengas experiencia en el desarrollo de MVPs y proyectos de IAG, priorización estratégica de actividades.
- Tengas conocimientos avanzados en estrategias de escalabilidad y continuidad operativa, gestión de proyectos en Agile y Waterfall.
Tu Stack tecnológico imprescindible es el siguiente:

Your new role – innovative and future-focused
Step into a key position within our engineering department, shaping the car body design of state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly rail vehicles. As a Lead Design Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues to develop and integrate critical components for the passenger trains of tomorrow.
What you’ll do:
Take ownership of the mechanical integration of bogies and couplers/joints for advanced rail vehicles.
Coordinate designs during development with multiple stakeholders, including the bogie plant in Graz, car body design, electrical cabling, pneumatic piping, and systems engineering.
Define requirements for couplers and joints and manage design activities with system suppliers.
Perform clearance and collision tests, as well as movement analysis for cables and tubes.
Develop concepts for lifting and recovery, including pre-design of attachments.
Plan and supervise lifting operations, clearance tests, and other critical validation activities.
Your qualifications – solid and relevant:
Master’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering, rail vehicle construction, bogie integration, couplers/joints) or equivalent.
Strong expertise in materials, strength analysis, and bolt design.
Proficient in Creo, PDMLink, and SAP.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

Application of the Motion Amplification technology in the validation of a Wind Turbine
Test and Validation has the hardware (camera, tripods, auxiliaries) to apply the Motion Amplification technology, which is a new technology for vibration measurement in rotational machines, such as a Wind Turbine drive train. The purpose of this request is to understand how the hardware works and, together with design engineers, propose a real case in which that technology could be applied providing benefits with respect to traditional vibration measurement systems (accelerometers)
Roles And Responsibilities
- Apply Motion Amplification technology to visualize and analyze wind turbine components.
- Set up and calibrate Motion Amplification equipment for optimal performance. The equipment will be ready at the office for this purpose
- Capture high-speed video data using Motion Amplification technology.
- Develop and refine test protocols incorporating Motion Amplification techniques.
- Collaborate with engineers, technicians, and other departments to ensure alignment on validation goals.
- Communicate results to stakeholders through presentations and meetings.
- Keep abreast of changes in standards and best practices related to wind turbine validation and Motion Amplification technology.
- Fluent in English with working efficiency
- Skills in data analysis software (e.g., MATLAB, Python, FAMOS)
- Knowledge in DAQ (measurement instrumentation, data recorders, etc.)
- Good command of MS Office
- Fluent in calculation tools such as Matlab, Python or Famos
- Active University student status
- Preference start date: February 2026 (but no later than April 2026)
- Work style: full time in presence work at the Barcelona office is required

The Networking Remote Field Service Engineer (L1) is an entry level engineering role, responsible for operating in region and provides a professional remote technical support service to clients by identifying and resolving technical incidents and problems.
Through pre-emptive service incident and resolution activities, this role will restore service to clients by driving incidents to an effective resolution and ensuring all requests, process events and resolution incidents result in zero missed service level agreement (SLA) conditions.
Key responsibilities:
- Maintains the support process and ensures that requests for support are handled according to the procedures.
- Uses service assurance software and tools to investigate and diagnose problems, collects performance statistics and creates reports, working with users, other staff and suppliers as appropriate.
- Identifies and resolves problems following agreed procedures.
- Carries out agreed maintenance tasks.
- Ensures usage of knowledge articles in incident diagnosis and resolution and assist with updating as and when required.
- Performs defined tasks to monitor service delivery against service level agreements and maintains records of relevant information.
- Analyses service records against agreed service levels regularly to identify actions required to maintain or improve levels of service, and initiates or reports these actions.
- Prioritizes and diagnoses incidents according to agreed procedures.
- Investigates causes of incidents and seeks resolution.
- Escalates unresolved incidents and follows up until incident is resolved.
- Provides service recovery, following resolution of incidents.
- Documents and closes resolved incidents according to agreed procedures.
- Maintains secure, accurate, complete, and current configuration on configuration items (CIs).
- Applies tools, techniques and processes to track, log and correct information related to CIs, ensuring protection of assets and components from unauthorized change, diversion, and inappropriate use.
- Remotely investigates and identifies root cause of incidents and assist with the implementation of agreed remedies and preventative measures.
- Maintains knowledge of specific specialisms, provides detailed advice regarding their application.
- Ensures efficient and comprehensive resolution of incidents, including ensuring that repairs are carried out by coordinating product requests, working with other team members.
- Provides continuous feedback to clients and affected parties and update all systems, portals and ticketing tools as prescribed by standard operating procedures.
- Identifies problems and errors prior to or when they occur.
- Logs all such incidents in a timely manner with the required level of detail with all the necessary.
- Cooperates with all stakeholders including client IT environments, vendors, carriers and colleagues to expedite diagnosis of errors and problems and to identify a resolution.
