The Role ✨

• Product Demo & Sales: you will directly participate in the sales process of certain accounts, handling the most critical deals for Operations Payroll & Time products.
• Onboarding & Ramp-up Coaching: shorten new hires' ramp-up time and help underperforming representatives to reach at least 70% of their objective.
• Ongoing Training & Enablement: regularly conduct sales and product training sessions. Review metrics, receive feedback from managers, and assess the team's needs to enrich the training content dynamically.
• Certification Program Development: create an in-depth training program that certifies the sales team in selling our product, impacting over 500 peers in Factorial.
• Market Research & Analysis: monitor and analyze market trends, client needs, and competitor strategies to give strategic insights that can shape product development and marketing strategies.
• Customer Activation: ensure a smooth transition from the sales process to post-sales support and customer activation strategies for certain accounts.

• Bachelor's degree in a business or technical field.
• Proven work experience as a Business Solutions Consultant or in a related position (e.g. Account Executive).
• Experience with B2B SaaS products preferred.
• Superior capacity to explain complex concepts simply and prepare enablement materials.

Context And Mission

The Barcelona Supercomputing Center (BSC) is seeking a Machine Learning Operations Engineer (MLOps) to join the Earth Sciences department within the framework of the AI Factory initiative.

The AI Factory is a major European project aimed at accelerating the adoption and development of artificial intelligence across industry sectors.

It is deploying a comprehensive set of AI-focused services, including robust training, networking, and innovation support structures.

Its mission is to foster the uptake and effective use of AI, particularly among SMEs and startups across participating countries, and to strengthen the European innovation ecosystem.

These services are powered by the AI-specific partition of the MareNostrum5 supercomputer, one of the most advanced infrastructures in Europe, designed to meet the evolving AI needs by harnessing the latest AI-oriented computing technologies.

Within the Earth Sciences department, the selected MLOps Engineer will support the development, deployment, and operationalization of AI services related to Earth Sciences applications.

This includes contributing to real-world applications with direct scientific and societal impact.

The candidate will be responsible for managing the integration and availability of AI software tools, developed internally by consortium partners or externally by third parties, on the MareNostrum5 AI partition.

This involves ensuring compatibility, performance, and scalability of AI workloads on the MN5 infrastructure and providing technical support to the broader AI Factory user community.

The role will involve close collaboration with researchers, developers, and system administrators to streamline workflows, automate deployment pipelines, and maintain robust, reproducible AI environments using best practices in MLOps.

This project is funded by the European Union's Recovery and Resilience Facility, in accordance with Council Regulation (EU) 2020/2094 of 14 December 2020, and regulated by Regulation (EU) 2021/241 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 12 February 2021, in the context of the "BSC AI Factory" project.

The BSC AI Factory project has received funding from the European High-Performance Computing Joint Undertaking (JU) under grant agreement No 101234399.

The JU receives support from the European Union's Horizon Europe Programme and Spain, Portugal, and Türkiye.

Manage and maintain AI software stacks and tools on the MN5 supercomputer.Support the deployment and scaling of AI workflows for users, particularly in environmental applications.Collaborate with the group and consortium members, as well as external developers, to integrate new software tools and ensure compatibility.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and containerization workflows (e.g., Docker, Singularity).Optimize MLOps Workflows, develop and maintain robust MLOps workflows, including model versioning, monitoring, lifecycle management, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

In this phase, technical competencies, knowledge, skills, and professional experience related to the position, as well as the required personal competencies, will be evaluated.

A minimum of 30 points out of 60 must be obtained to be eligible for the position.

The recruitment panel will be composed of at least three people, ensuring at least 25% representation of women.

In accordance with OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for each vacancy at the beginning of the process.

After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will begin the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview.

At a minimum, a personality questionnaire as well as a technical exercise will be conducted during the process.

Hello!

At Factorial we're looking for a new highly motivated Junior Purchasing Specialist to join our Procurement team.

Do you want to help us boost the company to the next level?

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with procurement activities, sourcing suppliers, and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. You will be part of Finance team reporting directly to the Procurement Manager.

What You Will Do

• Coordinating the purchases in the area of Marketing and HR
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely deliveries of goods and services
• Work closely with Accounting team in relation to the invoices and payments
• Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to negotiate prices, terms, and conditions
• Creating PO (purchase orders) in the Oracle NetSuite
• Monitor and analysis purchasing trends and make recommendations for improvements
• Negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance
• Reporting company costs directly to department leaders, ensuring transparency and informed decision-making
  
  

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or a related field
• Prior experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management is preferred but not required
• Fluent Spanish (at least B2) and English
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems is a plus
