Research Assistant I/II in the Department of Clinical Oncology, School of Clinical Medicine (Ref.: 533176) (to commence as soon as possible on a 2-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability).

Applicants should possess a Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification, preferably in Biological Science. They should have a strong sense of responsibility, good organizational, interpersonal and communication skills, and a good command of written and spoken Chinese and English. Research experience and experience in using Statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) would be highly desirable. The appointee will participate in research projects, and be responsible for handling research projects and database set-up in clinical oncology, and perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered. The appointment on fixed terms will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme at 10% of basic salary. Other benefits include annual leave, medical benefits and free access to on-campus gyms and libraries.
