We are seeking Shift Managers to join our vast fulfilment and operations network, in various locations across the EU. These are positive, self-motivated individuals with just the right combination of leadership skills and professional business acumen. This is a permanent position from day one.

What will you be doing?

You'll be an inspiring leader in one of the following areas within the FC operations: Receive, Stow, Pick, Pack or Ship. Or you might work at one of our Delivery Stations, where you will work to continuously improve the efficiency of delivery processes, ensuring that customer orders are delivered as quickly, accurately, and cost-effectively as possible.

In this position, you will lead a team or a process from day one. This kind of opportunity isn't often presented to graduates fresh out of university. A day in the life

You’ll work on a shift pattern at one of our sites, making sure it is as productive as it can be. Your main focus will be to own and drive a culture of safety and uphold quality and shift performance standards. You’ll also oversee process improvements within your area and drive implementation. A typical day is varied, including everything from routine team management and daily operational responsibilities to process improvement and wide-scale operational contingency tasks. You’ll also be a role model and mentor to new managers.

Customer Fulfilment, or CF, is where it all started for Amazon. CF has scaled up from a humble team of booksellers to a sophisticated global team which handles more than 1.5 million orders every day. The team is the foundation of our business and its efforts have helped us diversify across new regions and services. A day in the life

You are managing one or multiple projects that can vary in scope, complexity and duration. Daily tasks may comprise of site coordination with operations teams and contractors on project execution activities or changes; deep diving project progress, schedule and resources, while identifying barriers, creating solutions and driving resolutions. You may be facilitating the planning and/or implementation meetings with projects’ stakeholders, ensuring alignment in objectives, expectations, and the next steps; you would capture and publish detailed notes after each meeting to drive ownership and follow-through on the actions and decisions. - Recepción de material y preparación de muestras (identificación y control dimensional)

- Instalación de instrumentación (galgas extensométricas y sensores de desplazamiento)

¿Qué buscamos en ti?

- Experiencia realizando ensayos mecánicos

- Se valorará experiencia en el uso de herramientas manuales y de taller (radial, llaves dinamométricas, extractores, etc.).

- Formación: Grado Medio y/o Superior en Química, Mecánica o similar

- Conocimientos de ofimática

- Nivel de inglés avanzado

- Persona con capacidad de organización, trabajo en equipo y atención al detalle
