¿Qué vas a hacer?

What You Will Do

The Hotels Network has joined Lighthouse! And we are expanding internationally. As a Data Scientist, you will develop and implement cutting-edge Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) techniques that power our market-leading products. Who You Are

• Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering, or similar.
• 3+ years of industry experience applying machine learning techniques.
• Strong technical skills in Python and core ML libraries (pandas, numpy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch, matplotlib, seaborn, FastAPI).
• Proven experience in end-to-end data science project execution — from ideation and planning to implementation, evaluation, and delivery.

You will join the Drug Development Data Platform leadership team which is responsible for delivering data driven solutions across many different domains in support of clinical product development. This includes Clinical Operations, Digital Patient Clinical Devices, Patient Safety and Human Bio sampling. The R&D Data Platform is organised into DevOps teams specialising in: Information Architecture, Data Engineering, BI Engineering, Knowledge Management, Data Science, Data Analysis and Information Governance.

You´ll work very closely with Platform Leads, Lead Solution Architects and Senior Business Stakeholders to prioritise, estimate and plan work. Constantly looking for opportunities to get the most out of our Agile, DevOps teams and introducing process and technology improvements such as Data Mesh and Cloud Native engineering tools to maximise velocity and business value. You will work primarily on our AWS data platform but there are also some opportunities to work our Azure platform.

What You´ll Need

In order to be successful, you will be experienced with managing tech leads (or at least managing large and complex engineering teams), delivering across key elements of the data & analytics domain with proven experience working throughout the technology project lifecycle in Agile environments. You will lead a team that has delivered cloud solutions, such as the development of auto-scaling containerised ETL. Experience of ETL & cloud techniques and tools (we currently use DBT Cloud, AWS Glue or AWS Lambda for ETL, AWS data & analytics services such as S3, Athena, SQS, SNS, Redshift, Postgres, Snowflake, Starburst, Aurora, MySQL, EMR, HIVE, PIG, Spark),

Experience of visualisation technologies (Power BI) and building scalable high availability analytics solutions, providing continuous integration and continuous development (we use GitHub Enterprise), Experience of data analysis - profiling, investigating, interpreting and documenting data structures. Familiarity with data modelling techniques and hands on modelling experience (third normal form and star schema)

You´ll be leading a team of senior engineers who work closely with IT colleagues mainly in the UK, Chennai, Barcelona and Guadalajara. - Garantizar el alineamiento con marcos regulatorios en materia de protección de datos (GDPR valorable).

Requisitos:
- Más de 8 años de experiencia en seguridad de la información, con foco en protección del dato y diseño arquitectónico.
- Experiencia sólida en criptografía aplicada y en la definición de estándares de protección de datos.
- Conocimiento en algoritmos de cifrado y técnicas de hashing.
- Experiencia en modelos de tokenización y técnicas avanzadas de protección del dato, incluyendo preservación de formato.
- Conocimiento en clasificación y gobierno del dato.
- Experiencia en protección de datos en entornos cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP) y en la evaluación de riesgos en soluciones SaaS.

En la actualidad estamos seleccionando, para empresa TIC en Santiago de Compostela, un perfil de:

Ingeniero/a de Software senior - Jefe de Equipo – Líder Técnico de Desarrollo Software


Responsabilidades:

• Liderar pequeño equipo de desarrollo (3-4 personas)
• Desarrollo de Productos Software as a Service (Cloud)
• Mantener y evolucionar la infraestructura Cloud

La persona que se incorpore va a trabajar en un Producto SaaS, construido con los principios de las actuales aplicaciones modernas, cloud, tecnología serverless, se está comenzando a incorporar IA...
Va a poder influir directamente en el producto, en las decisiones que se toman sobre él, en los enfoques más idóneos, en las tecnologías más adecuadas. Va a tener un impacto directo sobre e producto. Va a ser la mano derecha del CTO de la empresa.
El equipo que va a liderar es joven, con buena predisposición al trabajo.

• Análisis, Diseño, Especificación, Liderazgo y Seguimiento del Equipo y asistencia técnica al equipo (60%)
• Desarrollo de Componentes/Servicios (25%)
• Mantener y evolucionar la infraestructura Cloud (15%)



Formación Académica:
Grado en Ingeniería Informática

Idiomas:
Inglés: mínimo un nivel que permita tratar con documentación técnica, no se requiere un nivel conversacional.

Experiencia: al menos 6 años como desarrollador software y 2 de ellos liderando un pequeño equipo

Requisitos imprescindibles:

• Experiencia liderando pequeños equipos de desarrollo y metodología AGILE. Aunque haya sido un grupo pequeño: experiencia supervisando su trabajo, haciendo el seguimiento, implementando las prácticas Agile, desbloqueando cuestiones complicadas donde el equipo se atasca...
• Experiencia como desarrollador de proyectos Java
• Experiencia como desarrollador de proyectos Angular
• Deseable experiencia como desarrollador de proyectos Node.js
• Experiencia en los frameworks: Spring Boot
• Experiencia como desarrollador en tecnologías client-side: Angular, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, TypeScript, SASS, Webpack y Yarn.
• Experiencia como desarrollador en tecnologías server-side: Spring Boot, Spring Security, Maven, MySQL, Liquibase, Hibernate, Hazelcast/EhCache, Thymeleaf y Swagger con OpenAPI v3
• Herramientas de control de versiones como Git y NPM para la gestión de paquetes JavaScript.
• Conocimientos Cloud (se valorará especialmente AWS)
• Experiencia en Integraciones con sistemas terceros: REST, SOAP,...

Cierta flexibilidad a la hora de entrada y salida por temas de desplazamientos, temas familiares,...

Posibilidad de TELETRABAJO 100% desde cualquier ubicación de Galicia, Asturias o Léon, con asistencia puntual a oficina en Santiago de Compostela, solo durante la primera semana de inicio y reuniones puntuales.
