(35 hours per week).This contract is funded through the "BERCE PROGRAM FOR BENEFICIARIES OF RAMÓN Y Cajal GRANTS."The main tasks include:The hired person will join the FeMC group ("Feeding Circuits and Cancer Mechanisms") at CICA, under the supervision of Principal Investigator Dr. Luis Varela Fernández, conducting experiments for the research project and supporting laboratory organization and management.Specifically:- Maintenance and handling of primary cultures and cell lines.
Preparation of culture media, maintenance of cell stocks in liquid nitrogen.- Performing cell growth and viability assays, migration and invasion assays, using various inhibitors and drugs.- Use of cloning, mutagenesis, transfection/infection, and bacterial transformation techniques.
