Your Tasks
- You will manage and develop an existing customer portfolio in the field of polymer additives, identifying and unlocking new sales opportunities – with a strong focus on technical solutions that deliver real value
- With your deep application knowledge, you will advise customers on additives for flame retardancy, foaming, and other functionalities, tailored to various polymer systems and technical requirements
- You will independently handle the entire sales process – from preparing offers and negotiating prices to managing margins – and document all activities in our CRM system (Salesforce)
- You will proactively identify new business opportunities, acquire new customers, and actively implement both global and regional sales strategies
- As an interface between Customer Service and Product Development, you always keep customer satisfaction and requirements in focus
- You will monitor market and technology trends, conduct competitive analyses, and contribute valuable insights to our marketing and innovation strategies
- A Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Polymer Engineering, Process Engineering, or a comparable field
- Solid professional experience in technical sales or application-oriented consulting – ideally with a focus on polymer additives or functional plastics
- A self-driven, structured working style, combined with a strong understanding of technical and commercial dynamics
- Willingness to travel and enthusiasm for working with international customers
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); additional language skills are a plus
