Our Navarra site is a key hub for innovative food processing solutions, combining advanced equipment design with cutting-edge technologies. The location specializes in end-to-end solutions for fresh and frozen fruit and vegetable, and wet pet food applications, covering the full process from raw material intake and preparation to feeding, freezing, and packaging.
By integrating high-performance processing systems with gentle product handling and high throughput capabilities, the team enables customers to maintain product quality, optimize efficiency, and ensure food safety.
Serving a global customer base, the Navarra team plays a vital role in delivering scalable, efficient, and sustainable solutions that meet evolving consumer demands for safe, high-quality, and minimally processed foods.
🔍 About The Role
The Pre-sales Engineer or Applications Engineer is a key position in the company. You’ll be one of the first contacts with the customer, playing a crucial role in bridging the gap between customer needs and the company's capabilities. This role involves transforming customer requests into tangible project deliverables, including design of layout, price calculations, and comprehensive quotations. The Applications Engineer ensures that all technical and commercial aspects are meticulously addressed to facilitate successful project execution. Also, you’ll take part in the negotiation of the project, the kickoff to the technical office and the follow-up of the project.
🧠 What You’ll Do
Your work is largely project-based pre‑sales / application engineering:
- Concept & layout design. Design layouts and solutions in AutoCAD based on the customer’s process and the available footprint
- Analyse customer requests and constraints (space, process, capacity). .
- Work with standard machines and configure/adapt them
- Technical & cost calculations: Break down solutions into machines, options and components, calculate machine and project costs using historical data, internal tables and engineering input. Translate costs into sales prices using price lists or margin targets.
- Quotations & customer interface (pre‑sales): Prepare technical and commercial quotations, and structure, describe and document the proposed solution clearly.
- Support the sales team with all technical aspects in customer discussions.
- Answer technical questions from customers and internal stakeholders before the order is placed.
🛠️ What You Bring
You are energized by working in a broad engineering scope, a kid of technical jack-of-all-trades who understands mechanical principles, machinery and has basic knowledge of automation and electrical concepts. Experience with layout thinking and process flow is highly recommended

- Enjoy combining technical depth with financial insight. You enjoy calculations – both mechanical/technical and financial (costing, margins, pricing).
- Have an engineering degree (or equivalent technical background), for example: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Automation / Electrical Engineering
- Located in or near Navarra
- Hands-on experience with industrial machinery / production lines
- Enjoy working independently within a small expert team.
- Are comfortable moving between technical detail and business discussion.
- Experience with AutoCAD (or similar) for 2D layout design.
- Experience with 3D CAD tools such as SolidWorks (or similar) or strong affinity.
- Prepare quotations & support sales
- Can craft clear, well‑structured technical and commercial quotations.
- Experience in application engineering / technical sales
- Experience with project engineering or project design
- Food processing / food machinery
- Additional languages like French and/or Italian are especially valuable (many customers in those countries, sometimes with limited English).
- Experience or courses in data analytics / reporting tools like Power BI or advanced Excel.
- Willingness to travel occasionally.

Como Sales Engineer o Ingeniero/a Técnico/a de Ventas (ITV), como se denomina internamente en nuestra empresa, serás responsable de gestionar y desarrollar relaciones comerciales con clientes clave en la zona de Navarra-La Rioja. Tu principal misión será asesorar a nuestros clientes en soluciones técnicas y promover nuestros productos de automatización industrial, facilitando la información necesaria para su correcta aplicación y uso.
Responsabilidades
- Desarrollar y mantener relaciones con los clientes asignados, ofreciendo asesoramiento técnico especializado.
- Actuar como enlace entre la empresa y los clientes en asuntos técnico-comerciales, desde la elaboración de ofertas hasta el seguimiento y la gestión de incidencias.
- Colaborar con distribuidores en la región para potenciar las ventas.
- Participar en negociaciones comerciales y realizar prospección de mercado para identificar nuevas oportunidades de negocio.

- Nivel avanzado de castellano y nivel intermedio de inglés; se valorará el conocimiento de otros idiomas (euskera, alemán, francés o portugués).
- Proactividad, capacidad para trabajar en equipo y orientación a resultados.
