We are looking for a Service Engineer (m/f/d) based in Madrid.

Service Engineer you'll be responsible for supporting our field service activity.

This role will involve traveling across Spain to visit the sites where our towers are placed and conduct a series of routine checks, inspections, and repairs to ensure optimal functionality of the towers.

In your role, you will represent BauWatch to our customers and contribute to their overall satisfaction.

Responsibilities and Duties

Detecting and diagnosing malfunctions or technical problems of the Towers and determining the right solution, both on location and remotely.

Apply standard solutions in case of malfunctions, but also come up with solutions in case of complex technical problems where standardised solutions are not sufficient.

Ensuring customers receive a consistently high standard of customer service.

Liaison with the Operations Team and our Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) to ensure mast is operational.

Performing all common types of periodic maintenance and carry out inspections of installations in accordance with the applicable standards.

Support ongoing operations at our Madrid hub and conduct inspections of incoming towers.

Potentially manage the local stock supplies for your geographical area, including the timely ordering of necessary materials for the work to be carried out.

Qualifications

Driver's license

Full, valid driving license

Experience in Field Service, Commissioning or related fields

Mid-Level Experience

Technical Diploma (mechanical, electrical or surveillance related) or Engineering Degree

Excellent Customer Support

Languages

Native Spanish speaker

Conversational English skills (minimum B2)

Ability to use technology: General ability to use MS Office programs

Technical Security background is preferable, but not required

Java Angular Cloud Coumputing AWS Spring

Desde HAYS estamos colaborando con una empresa joven y en crecimiento, enfocada en la automatización de almacenes mediante software propio y comunicación directa con robots. Buscamos una persona de confianza que pueda evolucionar a ser la mano derecha del área IT.

Formarás parte del núcleo que desarrolla el backend en Java y la integración vía APIs con robots y sistemas del cliente. Trabajarás sobre su propio servidor, infraestructura del cliente y capas cloud (AWS), en un entorno que combina innovación y proyectos de alto impacto.

Qué harás (responsabilidades):

- Desarrollar y mantener el software propio de control de almacenes (Java, Spring).
- Integrar sistemas y comunicarte con robots vía APIs bajo estándares.
- Participar en la simulación y validación previa a la integración física.
- Colaborar con ingeniería, comercial y project/customer service en un organigrama ágil (I+D & IT como pilar clave).
- Aplicar buenas prácticas de ciberseguridad en entornos conectados y automatizados.

¿Qué buscamos?

- Formación: FP Grado Superior en Informática/Programación o similar.
- Tecnologías: Java (principal), Spring.
- Valorable: Angular, Python/C++/ROS.
- Interacción con robots: Desarrollo, configuración y mantenimiento (ciclo completo).
