Descripción

1. Diseño e implementación de estrategias de sostenibilidad

Desarrollar planes y políticas de sostenibilidad alineadas con los objetivos de la empresa.

Integrar criterios ESG (ambientales, sociales y de gobernanza) en la estrategia corporativa.

2. Gestión ambiental

Supervisar el uso eficiente de recursos (agua, energía, materias primas).

Impulsar iniciativas de reducción de emisiones de carbono, residuos y contaminación.

Coordinar la transición hacia energías renovables o modelos de economía circular.

3. Cumplimiento normativo y certificaciones

Asegurar el cumplimiento de leyes y regulaciones ambientales locales e internacionales.

Gestionar certificaciones como ISO 14001, EMAS, LEED, B Corp, entre otras.

4. Evaluación y reporte de desempeño

Elaborar informes de sostenibilidad (por ejemplo, bajo estándares GRI o SASB).

Medir indicadores clave de desempeño (KPIs) ambientales y sociales.

Participar en auditorías internas y externas de sostenibilidad.

5. Sensibilización y formación interna

Fomentar una cultura organizacional sostenible.

Formar y capacitar a empleados sobre buenas prácticas ambientales y sociales.

6. Relación con grupos de interés (stakeholders)

Dialogar con cooperativas y proveedores afines, comunidades, ONG, gobiernos y otros actores relevantes.

Impulsar iniciativas de responsabilidad social corporativa (RSC) o inversión social.

7. Innovación y mejora continua

Investigar e incorporar nuevas tecnologías sostenibles.

Promover la innovación en productos y servicios con menor impacto ambiental.

¿A quién buscamos (H/M/D)?

El candidato/a puede provenir de experiencias en área de Consultoría enfocada en Sostenibilidad y/o de realizar dicha posición de Responsable de Sostenibilidad en otra industria.

Las claves del perfil serán;

-Conocimiento en desarrollo sostenible, gestión ambiental y RSC.

-Capacidad analítica y de planificación estratégica.

-Buen manejo de normativas y marcos internacionales de sostenibilidad.

CIDETEC Energy Storage is looking for a process engineer to work in the Energy Materials Unit. We are seeking a person with project and people management skills including technical task planning, analysis of results, writing monitoring reports for clients and R&D team leader.

Our work covers the entire value chain, from battery chemistry to the final application. We design and develop cells, modules and battery packs tailored to our customers' needs, with a clear focus on technology transfer to industry.

Your contribution

You will form part of a state-of-the-art research center, geared to sustainability and the circular economy, which has helped electrify Spain's roads and is now working towards 100% future sustainability.

The developer will join the Energy Materials Unit, working on the process of cell assembly with the aim of improving the process and obtaining an indepth knowledge of the main parameters affecting the cell assembly.

Your work will focus on the following activities:

• Analysing the assembly process and identifying critical parameters to optimize the processs.
• Determining failure modes of the assembled cells, relating them to the corresponding assembling step and defining corrective actions to mitigate the failures.
• Closely communicating with machine suppliers during new equipment search and new equipment fine-tuning at facilities.
• Elaborating process documentation.

You will also be involved in:

• Planning technical tasks.
• Participating in different projects focused on cell assembly tasks.
• Managing projects documentation, both internal and external, including writing project reports.

Requirements:

Education:

Process engineer, mechanical engineer, mechatronic, battery engineer

Languages:

High level of written and spoken English

Knowledge:

The successful candidate will demonstrate a sound knowledge in:

• Manufacturing processes
• Mechanical setup development
• CAD Programming (solidworks, Autocad, etc.)

Others:

• Technical knowledge on batteries will be considered a plus
• Ability to work as part of a team and also independently.
• Being able of carrying out several lines of work simultaneously, optimizing resources and maximizing results.

Observations:

A highly motivated person, with a keen interest in research and innovation, you will join a multidisciplinary team. You will be able to organise your work, meeting both the deadlines and the established objectives. Problem-solving capacity and scientific criteria. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
