Job Description: Our Mission: Airbus DS Maintenance Programs Department main mission is to ensure the Airworthiness Authorities approval of the Scheduled Maintenance Requirements for A400M aircraft, A330 MRTT and C-295 aircraft (transport, humanitarian and maritime patrol versions).This is done through the MRB process and the MSG-3 methodology.We are in direct contact with Operators and Airworthiness Authorities as part of Maintenance Working Groups, were we present the MSG-3 analysis that are the source data for the Maintenance Review Board Report - MRBR (the MRBR is part of the Instruction for Continued Airworthiness - ICA, required by FAR/CS 25.1529 regulation in order to obtain the aircraft certification)Your main activities:- You will perform SYSTEMS MSG-3 analyses in order to identify Scheduled Maintenance Requirements for the aircraft under our responsibility. You will also present these MSG-3 analyses in front of operators and authorities (mainly EASA/CQC and INTA).- You will provide technical support to our customers related to scheduled maintenance requirements under your responsibility, with special attention to ASAC Services as required in GSS3 contract.- Collaborate with department’s disciplines (Systems, Structure, Zonal, MPD) when required.- Analyse aircraft design changes/modifications and In-Service Eng. Documentation (SB´s, OIT, AOT, ..) regarding the impact on the MSG-3 analyses, MRBR and MPD.- Perform In-service customer maintenance inspection reports analysis for intervals evolutions/escalations exercises for the Maintenance Review Board Report (MRBR).- Development of solutions and customization of Operator's Maintenance Programs.- Contribution to Customer satisfaction by optimizing tasks intervals and providing support to technical queries.Your Working Place:You will join a young enthusiastic team, willing to share a great technical knowledge. - Educated to engineering degree level,
- Knowledge in aircraft maintenance is highly recommended,
- Knowledge in aircraft SYSTEMS are highly recommended,

- Ability to cope with highly demanding environment,
- Good co-ordination and relational skills to deal with Customers, Suppliers and other Airbus Defence and Space departments,
- Tenacious, adaptable and flexible,

An opportunity for an ISR Mission Systems Engineer has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid)
As ISR Mission Systems engineer the candidate will be integrated in a team in charge of developing ISR Mission Systems for several Aircrafts as C295, RPAS/UAS, FCAS, A400M, etc. The activities to be performed are mainly focused on system detailed design (Functional requirements, modelling & prototyping, Subsystem Specs, ICDs, Drawings, Equipment Integration, etc.) and supplier technical steering considering a V-shape development framework.
This also considers the V&V activities associated as product laboratory validation, support A/C ground and flight Testing, etc. to achieve the full Qualification and Certification of the product.
Required skills for a suitable candidate are:
- Technical Profile (no management)
- Expertise in ISR Mission & Avionics disciplines is greatly appreciated
- Previous knowledge/experience in ISR missions as Maritime surveillance/Patrol, antisubmarine warfare, AGS, EW, etc would be considered very positively
- Good knowledge of Mission Sensors & Subsystems as Electrooptic, Radar (SAR, MPR, etc.),SIGINT/ELINT/ESM/COMINT, AIS, PLS, Computing Platforms, etc.
- Previous experience in Tactical Datalinks (L16, VMF, L22, etc) integration would be appreciated
- Good knowledge of Displays, Navigation Systems, Computing Platforms, Transponders, etc.
- Good knowledge of UAS and/or Manned Mission Systems
- Excellent knowledge of development & integration activities, from requirements capture to verification/validation activities to achieve a qualified/certified system. That includes engineering fields as safety, quality assurance, configuration control, etc. applied to Mission Systems
- Good knowledge of procurement activities, from supplier selection to control and monitoring activities.
- Proactiveness is a must
- Good communication skills, assertiveness and willingness to travel
- Strong Spanish and English skills, both verbal and written

Our main mission is to provide testing services to all development loops along product/solution lifecycle to all flying platforms.Responsibilities of the job holder
- Challenge and harmonize test orders/test requests in line with test strategy.
- Defines in detail the test method and means for ground and flight test.
- Defines measurements plans with instrumentation specialists for flight test.
- Ensures test quality on external deliveries.
- Defines and writes test procedures and test cases.
- Contributes to elaboration of Flight Test program.
- Manages usage of telemetry room to perform real time analysis and support to flight test.
- Validates measurements and test results.
- Reports of the identified and classified problems in the associated reporting tools and/or with project/development agreed way of reports.

- Performs verification for experimental flight approval.
