What to expect
We are searching for a CAMO Specialist to join one of our projects within a major aerospace client, supporting the A330MRTT fleet.
The role combines AMP‑related activities with fleet planning responsibilities, ensuring continuous airworthiness, documentation accuracy, and maintenance compliance across all aircraft. You will collaborate closely with multiple departments to maintain operational readiness and support the planning and execution of maintenance tasks.

General responsibilities
- Airworthiness & AMP Support: Collaborate with the AMP department to manage Airworthiness Directives (ADs), Job Cards (JCs), and scheduled line maintenance tasks (Pre‑flight, Daily, Weekly, Post‑flight, and Transit checks).
- Documentation Management: Update and maintain Line Check Job Cards, ensuring accuracy, traceability, and compliance with operational and regulatory requirements.
- Fleet Planning Coordination: Work with Maintenance Planners to manage tasks across the fleet, including aircraft undergoing conversion or retrofit.
- End‑to‑End Planning: Support the full planning cycle—task scheduling, Job Card creation and editing, and follow‑up of maintenance compliance.
- Cross‑functional Collaboration: Ensure smooth coordination with engineering, planning, and maintenance teams to maintain aircraft availability and airworthiness.

The main tasks will be related to the development of tools and methods for multidisciplinary analysis and optimization of aircraft systems, including the use of surrogate models and machine learning algorithms. As a team member within the certification and airworthiness office for Airbus Derivatives, your main responsibilities and functions will be:
For Initial Certification:
- Establish the applicable certification basis for the air system type certification and major changes;
- Establish the air system certification plans and prepare the relevant documentation;
- Coordinate with technical organisations the progress of activities related to Airworthiness;
- Present and discuss with the Airworthiness Authorities on the certification plans and means of compliance with applicable certification requirements;
- Centralise and control the necessary documentation for the certification of products and modifications;
- Evaluate and verify during the whole design phase the compliance with the applicable airworthiness requirements;
- Participate in the design revision processes to verify compliance with airworthiness requirements;
- Provide advice to other Airbus DS Engineering CoCs about applicability of the airworthiness requirements;
- Inform the Chief Engineering office about the airworthiness regulations required for operation in different countries;
- Classify modifications to type certificate and approve those allowed by available privileges granted by the Airworthiness Authorities;
- Prepare the necessary evidences in support to flight test activities and obtain from the Airworthiness Authorities or issue the corresponding approvals in line with the privileges granted by the Airworthiness Authorities;
- Provide support to other areas of the company for obtaining the Certificates of Airworthiness of programmes under Airbus DS SAU DOAs, in the cases of operator and/or country change;
- Prepare the necessary documentation for the individual certification of air system to be delivered, including the necessary modifications, and manage approval of those concessions related with Airworthiness.
- Lead and coordinate the activities related to event monitoring, classification and definition of mitigating actions in accordance with approved procedures;
- Discuss with the Airworthiness Authorities the actions to be taken to mitigate and correct potential unsafe conditions and support the issuance of Airworthiness Directives;
- Discuss with the Airworthiness Authorities the actions to be taken for the completion of the Airworthiness Directives;
- Coordinate within Airbus DS the activities required for the correction of the reported occurrences;
- Coordinate the activities required for the Service Bulletins approval and approve them from Airworthiness point of view in line with the privileges granted by the Airworthiness Authorities;
- Participate in the Major In-Service Issue (MISI), Major Fleet Technical Issue (MFTI) and the Product Safety Committees;
- Approve (in case of granted privilege) or prepare for airworthiness approval of artefacts to in service products or to air systems in development/certification phases.
- Educated in an Aeronautical Engineering degree.

To support the Aircraft Development Safety team in Getafe, we are looking for a System Safety Engineer who will ensure that Airbus products are designed, developed and supported according to the relevant safety standards (associated to airworthiness regulations).
Tasks
As a member of the Aircraft Development Safety team, you will develop the following challenging tasks and activities:
- Performing System Safety Assessment activities for military aircraft systems, supporting the development phases until certification.
- Performing a systematic and comprehensive examination of System functions to identify and classify failure conditions of those functions according to their severity.
- Establishing the System Safety requirements and performing preliminary evaluations to determine that the proposed architecture can reasonably be expected to meet the safety objectives.
- Generating evidences to demonstrate in front of the Airworthiness Authorities that the final system architecture meets required System Safety requirements.
- Performing analyses of Common-Cause (Particular Risk Analysis, Zonal Safety Analysis and Common Mode Analysis).
- Performing Risk Analyses, according to the applicable guidance and standards, which are required to demonstrate the Continuous Airworthiness of the platform.
- Manage and establish safety requirements at the interface to interacting systems.
- Manage input from and output to interfacing technical domains and technology (processes, maintenance, human factos, aircraft performance, structures, quality, etc.).
- Review, approval and application of supplier data regarding Safety and Reliability.
Required Skills
As a successful candidate, you will be able to demontrate the following skills and experience:
- Master degree of Aeronautical or Industrial Engineer (or similar discipline).
- Good Knowledge/understanding of Aircraft systems.
- System Safety Assessment experience would be an advantage, at least System Engineering experience with interface to Safety Assessment/Airworthiness/Certification.
- Advanced skills with MS Office are presumed.
- Experience with Safety Tools, e.g. Isograph FaultTree+ will be valuable.
- Good level of English Language.
- Team working skills and problem-solving mind.
