What We Expect
In your role as Mechanical Engineer you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of innovative mechanical solutions that drive the efficiency, quality, and competitiveness of products. With a collaborative, technical approach focused on continuous improvement.
Functions:
- Design and development of new mechanical products and systems and improvement of existing components.
- Research of new technologies and materials to improve the efficiency and functionality of existing products.
- Collaboration with other departments (Electrical Cluster, Electronics, Quality...) to integrate multidisciplinary solutions.
- Perform feasibility studies and cost analysis.
- Prototyping and Testing: Build and test prototypes to validate designs, in collaboration with the Test and Qualification department.
- Analysis and Troubleshooting. Identify and resolve technical issues during product development. Use analysis tools such as FEA (Finite Element Analysis).
- Continuous Improvement: Propose and lead initiatives to improve product efficiency and quality.
- Document design processes and test results.
- Prepare technical reports and presentations.
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Good English level (spoken and written)
- Previous experience in mechanical product design and development.
- Knowledge of CAD software (such as SolidWorks, Catia).
- Expert in finite element software such as Simulation, Ansys...
- Expert in theoretical calculations.
- Analytical skills and ability to solve complex problems.
- Effective Communication. Ability to work in a team and communicate ideas clearly and accurately.
- Knowledge of document management (PLM/PDM)
