Context And Mission
The Language Technologies Lab at BSC is currently engaged in the training of foundational multilingual Large Language Models (LLMs). As we begin the instruction and alignment phase, we are seeking annotators, evaluators, and translators to join a dynamic team of enthusiasts dedicated to advancing cutting-edge AI systems.
We are looking for skilled and detail-oriented professionals to analyze, annotate, and translate data in Galician, English and Spanish. Your work will be critical in ensuring the quality and accuracy of the multilingual datasets that power our AI models.
The ideal candidate is fluent in Galician, English and Spanish, has exceptional attention to detail, and is passionate about working at the intersection of language and technology.
Key Duties
- Evaluation, annotation and content creation tasks aimed at improving AI models ensuring accuracy, relevance, and linguistic quality.
- Translate, localize and proofread a variety of content, from English and /or Spanish to Galician.
- Post-edit raw Machine Translation output.
- Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Language Studies, Applied Linguistics, Humanities, Information and Documentation Science, Linguistics, Philology, Political Sciences, Primary Education, Social Sciences, Translation, or related fields or related fields (or equivalent experience).
- Essential Knowledge and Professional Experience
- Fluency in Galician, English and Spanish.
- Familiarity with AI content generation or with linguistic annotation tools is a plus.
- Proven experience in translation, localization or similar roles in Galician, English and Spanish.
- Strong creative and technical writing skills.

The selection will be carried out through a competitive examination system ("Concurso-Oposición"). The recruitment process consists of two phases:
- Curriculum Analysis: Evaluation of previous experience and/or scientific history, degree, training, and other professional information relevant to the position. - 40 points
- Interview phase: The highest-rated candidates at the curriculum level will be invited to the interview phase, conducted by the corresponding department and Human Resources. In this phase, technical competencies, knowledge, skills, and professional experience related to the position, as well as the required personal competencies, will be evaluated. - 60 points. A minimum of 30 points out of 60 must be obtained to be eligible for the position.
In accordance with OTM-R principles, a gender-balanced recruitment panel is formed for each vacancy at the beginning of the process. After reviewing the content of the applications, the panel will begin the interviews, with at least one technical and one administrative interview. At a minimum, a personality questionnaire as well as a technical exercise will be conducted during the process.
The panel will make a final decision, and all individuals who participated in the interview phase will receive feedback with details on the acceptance or rejection of their profile.

Requisitos:
- Disponer de un CFGS en Análisis y Control de Calidad o Fabricación de Productos Farmacéuticos o CFGM en Operaciones de Laboratorio
- Persona analítica, organizada y con orientación al detalle y la calidad
La persona que se incorpore con nosotros trabajará en nuestro laboratorio físico-químico realizando, entre otras, las siguientes funciones:
- Muestreo, análisis y etiquetado de materias primas, semi elaborados, producto acabado y materiales según procedimientos descritos. Análisis en equipos como HPLC, UV-VIS, IR, KF...
- Recepción, clasificación y revisión de muestras de producto acabado
- Calibración periódica y mantenimiento (básico) del instrumental del laboratorio
- Clasificación y almacenamiento de reactivos comerciales
- Preparación de reactivos y soluciones
- Liberación en el sistema informático de materias primas, semi elaborados y materiales
- Archivo de la documentación generada en el laboratorio
- Empresa referente en el sector
- Salario anual de 25.438€
- Contrato temporal (aprox. 4 meses)
- Turnos rotativos de mañana y tarde cada cuatro semanas
- Formar parte de un gran equipo técnico y humano
