Senior Research Assistant in the Teaching and Learning Innovation Centre (TALIC) (Ref.: 533011) (to commence as soon as possible until 31 August 2026)
We are seeking a Senior Research Assistant to support the coordination of campus-wide programmes of 1) Learning Management Systems (e.g., Moodle), 2) Generative AI Chatbots, and 3) Course evaluation and formative assessment. We welcome applications from enthusiastic individuals who are looking for a meaningful way to develop and contribute their project management and/or research skills to improving higher education at HKU.
The Role
The appointee will be responsible for the duties as follows:
- Management of multiple, simultaneous course-based research projects.
- Data management (Collating, Cleaning, Organising)
- Liaising with teachers within the university on a weekly basis.
- Hiring, organising, and managing PG and UG student RAs in test creation
- Creation of online resources
- Contributing to literature reviews
- Report writing for teachers of involved courses
- MPhil in Education (or related fields) or a Bachelor’s degree with similar capabilities, relevant skills and work experience
- Good command of spoken and written English.
- Experience with statistical programmes and packages (e.g., R, JMP, SPSS) would be an asset.

Como asistente de responsable de tienda, serás corresponsable de un nivel de ventas óptimo de nuestra increíble y sorprendente gama de productos, así como de la gestión del equipo de personal de la tienda. Proporcionarás un apoyo al responsable de tienda en el seguimiento de las ventas y el inventario en la tienda, y ayudarás a mejorar la disposición de la tienda y los estantes para optimizar las ventas. Junto con tu equipo, comprobarás el progreso necesario en cuanto al cuidado y al aseo para el aspecto del negocio. También serás corresponsable de la programación de los turnos de los empleados, de la gestión de las candidaturas aceptadas y de responder a las preguntas de tus compañeros o clientes, ya que nuestro objetivo es que todo el mundo se sienta siempre como en casa.

Key Responsibilities

Building access: guaranteeing access to the building for visitors, suppliers, managers or non-recurring employees

Barcelona accommodation: seek agreements with hotels, restaurants, temporary rental of apartments for employees.

Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Proven experience in a similar administrative or receptionist role.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks at once.
A proactive and positive attitude.
Fluency in both Spanish and English.
Nice To Have
