We are looking for a Data Center Engineering Operations Technician to join our expanding Infrastructure Operations team. Data Center Engineering Operations Technician is a hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting and operation responder. If you like to use apply your electrical and mechanical skills to solve problems, we’d like to meet you. Your work will help to maintain one of the world's largest information system infrastructures.

Follow and maintain the highest safety standards and diligently encourage a world-class safety culture. As a facility owner team, ensure remediation of safety risks/issues in conjunction with other teams. Own the safety initiatives and projects to foster strong safety culture.

• ENGINEERING & FACILITY OPERATIONS AND MAINTENANCE
  
  

Operational experience and familiarity with electrical and mechanical equipment, including Uninterruptable Power Supplies (UPS’s), Switchgear, Circuit Breakers, Automatic Transfer Switches (ATS's), Diesel Generators, Chillers, Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC), Exhaust Fans, Variable Frequency Drives (VFD's), and Transformers.

• Troubleshoot events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)
• Take daily operational readings of all mechanical and electrical equipment through routine rounds/log-taking (temperatures, voltages, currents, etc.)
• Supervise contractors who perform servicing or preventive maintenance
  
  

Physical requirements

• Manual handling and lifting of equipment may be required (weight limits in accordance with regulations).
• Ability to work shifts (morning, late and night)
• Work at heights and from ladders; in a noisy environment with ear protection
• Perform physical tasks during the shift

¿Cómo te imaginamos?

- Posees entre 2-5 años de experiencia como ingeniero de datos trabajando en procesamiento de grandes volúmenes de datos.
- Tienes conocimientos y experiencia en herramientas, frameworks y plataformas de integración de datos, para el diseño y la implementación de pipelines de ingestión, transformación, data quality y aprovisionamiento de datos en diferentes ecosistemas (Cloud, Onprem, Big Data, EDW, etc.)
- Tienes experiencia con PySpark, SparkSQL y Phyton para el desarrollo de procesos ETL y pipelines de datos.
- Has desarrollado soluciones de datos utilizando servicios de AWS, Azure, GCP y/o Databricks (certificaciones valorables).
- Posees experiencia con sistemas de control de versiones, preferiblemente Git.
- Tienes experiencia en buenas prácticas de desarrollo de software, por ejemplo: pruebas unitarias, arquitectura de aplicaciones de datos, optimización...
- Posees conocimientos y experiencia sobre sistemas de bases de datos, data modeling, data quality, data profiling y data lineage.
- Formación: Ingenierías o Grados en Ingeniería Informática, Telecomunicaciones, Matemáticas o titulaciones técnicas similares.
- Nivel de inglés alto, mínimo B2.
- Orientación a resultados, capacidad analítica y de espíritu de equipo.
