R&D PROJECT COORDINATOR

Join Our Team as an R&D Project Coordinator!

As an R&D Project Coordinator, you will support the R&D Contract & Project Manager in driving the management of SanLucar’s licensed variety projects. You'll help ensure smooth execution across activities like plant supply, logistics, and process harmonization within the team.

Your passion – our daily business

• Coordinate plant material distribution, logistics, and proper invoicing of plant‑related costs and royalties.
• Maintain updated plant distribution plans and support the management of plant‑related claims.
• Calculate and validate fees, royalties, and other license‑related costs, collaborating with accounting for accurate invoicing.
• Prepare and deliver royalties reports and financial dashboards for internal and external stakeholders.
• Perform profitability analyses (NPV, ROI, IRR) and track royalty margins and plant sales vs. collections.
• Support documentation for tax deductions, grants, and other R&D funding opportunities.
• Measure the sustainability impact and commercial relevance of R&D projects.
• Assist in preparing the annual R&D budget and perform monthly cost monitoring.
• Maintain and enhance R&D tools and databases to ensure consistent processes across the department.
• Organize meetings, draft minutes, follow up on action items, and support the creation of presentations.
• Support product tastings and contribute to data interpretation.
• Create materials that enhance the visibility of R&D initiatives and variety development projects.
• Collaborate across the team to ensure continuity during colleagues’ absences.
• Guide and mentor interns and trainees within the R&D department.

• Advanced studies in Agricultural Engineering or Technical Agricultural Engineering.
• Strong communication skills with bilingual Spanish and intermediate English; French or Italian is a plus.
• Previous experience in an R&D environment 1 or 2 years.
• Solid command of Excel (medium‑high) and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational abilities and clear, effective communication skills.
• High service orientation and a collaborative mindset.
• Excellent problem‑solving capabilities, resilience, and conflict‑management skills.
• Ability to provide clear guidance, explanations, and support to internal stakeholders.
• Passion for agricultural products and crop development.
