At G+D, we are looking for a Global Category Buyer – Films to manage global and regional procurement activities for the assigned category. You will be responsible for supplier management, commercial negotiations, contract compliance, and performance monitoring, working closely with international and cross-functional teams.

This role requires a strategic mindset, strong analytical and negotiation skills, and the ability to work independently in a global environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute global/regional procurement strategies aligned with category objectives.
• Manage supplier relationships, including evaluations, negotiations, and business reviews.
• Lead RFQs, tenders, and e-auctions using e-procurement tools (e.g. Ivalua).
• Create, monitor, and follow up on purchase orders in SAP.
• Ensure contract compliance and maintain supplier documentation.
• Monitor supplier performance, KPIs, and ESG alignment; drive corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with Quality on non-conformities and Cost of Quality (CoQ).
• Act as the procurement point of contact for regional stakeholders and global sites.

Your profile

• University degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, Procurement, or similar.
• Several years of experience in strategic or global procurement (ideally in films, packaging, or raw materials).
• Strong knowledge of SAP and e-procurement tools; advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
• Experience with Power BI is a plus.
• Fluent English and Spanish (written and spoken).
