Key Responsibilities

• Oversees the preparation and execution of a creative menu, ensuring each dish is crafted with care and precision.
• Fosters collaboration among the Culinary Team to deliver a well-coordinated dining experience, ensuring timely service to guests.
• Upholds quality standards by consistently following established guidelines for portion sizes, presentation, and food quality.
• Follows Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) and food safety guidelines diligently, demonstrating responsibility and awareness in every task.
• Takes responsibility for ingredient procurement and handling, ensuring that fresh, high-quality ingredients are used consistently.
• Maintains a hygienic and organised kitchen environment, strictly adhering to food safety and sanitation standards.
• Commits to continuous professional development through regular training sessions and workshops, remaining informed on industry trends.

Requisitos mínimos

What We’re Looking For

• A proven track record as a Commis or in a similar role within a luxury hotel environment or fine dining restaurant.
• A Culinary Degree or equivalent qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
• Solid time management and multitasking skills to excel in a busy kitchen and maintain consistent service during high-volume periods.
• Sound knowledge of Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles and practices, and a clear understanding of health and safety regulations, food hygiene standards and operational best practices.
• Previous experience in Forbes-rated or Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) properties is advantageous, demonstrating a strong commitment to service standards and operational consistency.
• Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with guests, team members and other departments.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and holidays, in line with the operational needs of The Pacha Group.
• Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written, with fluency in English and Spanish. Additional languages are a plus.
• Holds the legal right to work in Europe, including any required visas or work permits, in full compliance with local regulations.
• Personally settled on the island with accommodation already arranged is a must.
• Brings a positive attitude that aligns with the spirit of The Pacha Group.
