WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?
In our Communications team, part of the Digital Strategy for Business area, you’ll be involved in the maintenance, development, operation, and incident management of the entire network infrastructure—both corporate and business-related. Your main tasks will include:
- Managing incidents and requests related to GMV’s communications infrastructure
- Routing, switching, and firewall rules
- Rack cabling, network equipment installation, and deployments across our various offices
We are looking for network engineers interested in working on international projects. The key requirements are:
- Experience in network incident management
- Basic networking knowledge (CCNA level)
- VLAN configuration and firewall rules
- Knowledge of Aruba, Cisco, Forcepoint / Fortinet firewalls
- Experience with dynamic routing

Join Our Rolling Stock HUB in Madrid as Lead Design Engineer (m/f/d) – Bogies and Couplers Integration
Your new role – innovative and future-focused
Step into a key position within our engineering department, shaping the car body design of state-of-the-art, environmentally friendly rail vehicles. As a Lead Design Engineer, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues to develop and integrate critical components for the passenger trains of tomorrow.
What you’ll do:
Take ownership of the mechanical integration of bogies and couplers/joints for advanced rail vehicles.
Coordinate designs during development with multiple stakeholders, including the bogie plant in Graz, car body design, electrical cabling, pneumatic piping, and systems engineering.
Define requirements for couplers and joints and manage design activities with system suppliers.
Perform clearance and collision tests, as well as movement analysis for cables and tubes.
Develop concepts for lifting and recovery, including pre-design of attachments.
Plan and supervise lifting operations, clearance tests, and other critical validation activities.
Your qualifications – solid and relevant:
Master’s degree in engineering (preferably mechanical engineering, rail vehicle construction, bogie integration, couplers/joints) or equivalent.
Strong expertise in materials, strength analysis, and bolt design.
Proficient in Creo, PDMLink, and SAP.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork mindset, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
Experience working with customers and suppliers.
Analytical, methodical, and strategic approach to challenges, combined with strong planning and organizational skills. Assertiveness and decisiveness when required.

We are looking for a passionate HVAC Engineer to join our Rolling Stock team in Madrid. In this role, you will contribute to the development of advanced air conditioning systems for cutting-edge rail vehicles, ensuring comfort, efficiency, and sustainability for passengers worldwide.
Your mission – dynamic and impactful
Work on innovative HVAC concepts for next-generation rail vehicles.
Participate in both customer-specific projects and research & development for future vehicle generations.
Collaborate with internal design and development teams, ensuring seamless integration of HVAC systems.
Support suppliers in the design, construction, manufacturing, and testing of HVAC components.
Organize and oversee air-conditioning measurements and optimizations on vehicles.
After a comprehensive onboarding, take full responsibility for individual projects.
Your Key Responsibilities
Develop and refine air conditioning concepts for rail vehicles.
Use calculation and simulation tools to design and optimize HVAC systems.
Prepare technical specifications and milestone plans.
Participate in supplier selection and management throughout the development process.
Drive design-to-cost initiatives to ensure efficiency and competitiveness.
Coordinate design interfaces with other engineering departments.
Review drawings and parts lists for accuracy and compliance.
Supervise component and system testing at supplier sites.
Organize and monitor vehicle-level tests and optimizations.

What You Bring
- Completed degree in mechanical engineering, vehicle construction or comparable.
- Professional experience in the field of air conditioning (preferably in the air conditioning of rail vehicles) or in the field of rail vehicle technology is desirable.

- Theoretical knowledge in the field of thermodynamics
