Role: HR and Recruitment Assistant
Location: Alhama de Murcia, Spain - must be fluent in Spanish and English
Salary: Up to €23,000
About the Role
We are seeking a HR & Recruitment Assistant to support a growing aviation organisation at their Alhama campus in Spain. This newly created role is a fantastic opportunity to be at the heart of a dynamic and international team. You’ll provide day-to-day HR and recruitment support, working closely with colleagues based in the UK, and will play a key part in shaping an excellent employee experience. From drafting job ads and coordinating interviews, to onboarding new team members and maintaining accurate HR records, this position offers variety, responsibility, and the chance to grow within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide end-to-end HR administrative support across the employee lifecycle (onboarding, changes, offboarding, references).
- Manage recruitment activities in Spain: drafting adverts, attracting candidates, screening CVs, scheduling interviews, and supporting hiring managers.
- Partner with line managers to deliver effective induction programmes for new hires.
- Maintain accurate employee records via the HR Information System (HiBob), ensuring compliance and confidentiality.
- Support the monthly payroll process by submitting accurate employee data to the external payroll provider.
- Assist with HR queries, office administration, and ensure compliance with policies and employment law.
- Stay up to date with HR best practices and legislation, contributing to continuous improvement.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in HR and/or recruitment administration.
- Strong interest in HR and talent acquisition, with a drive to develop your career.
- Knowledge of Spanish Employment Law and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organisational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Fluency in both Spanish and English (written and verbal).
- Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and comfortable learning HR systems.
- A proactive, flexible, and adaptable team player with excellent communication skills.
